Honda Shadow VLX600 Fork Seal replacement

In this video we change out broken fork oil seals from our 92 Honda shadow vlx600 and top it off with some fresh clean fork oil.

What you do is get the fork piston tool from TJ brutal customs it's like 29 bucks and works perfectly! I just did my seals in my shadow 750

Yeah when we made that little piece TJ did not have that tool on his website. If he did I overlooked it lol that part cost 10$ and took 20 minutes to cut and grind. It worked perfectly 😁

I’ve got an 04 shadow 600 I’m doing fork seals on now. As I turn that bottom bolt it seems like the internals are turning and the bolt won’t come out.

After doing this for the first time we realized it requires a tool that fits inside the fork to hold the interior section. I know TJ Brutal sells a kit for this. I made my own with an impact socket.

The folk seal you all replace.will last a long time before its ever replace again.
