@@MarcusVinicius-we2pg I mean that's cool, but you have to have reasons for joining a cause. Conviction is a powerful thing, but it doesn't tell us anything about what's actually true. Claiming that it doesn't matter is a cop-out.
George is so missed, genius IQ, love of language hatred for ignorance and apathy. An always could make almost any issue funny. One of my top 5 for sure. Was fun to see your reaction to this legend.
Here's how people who believe in god think, give them a book from a while ago with no idea who wrote it, nowhere saying it's a non fiction book and suddenly they blindly believe it, in that case harry potter is my favorite god, yeah doesn't that sound weird, it's basically the same thing that's how people who believe in Christianity do it XD
If God is real then he comes in many forms, Buddhism, Christian, Muslim, etc. No religion is above the other. We are here to learn and experience. Organized religion divides us
There’s allot of information to unpack when it comes to religious beliefs. Not only can you tell that George reads allot but he’s also lived long enough to see and understand all the inconsistencies in religious doctrines. For example, in genius it says that God made the Sun to light the day and the Moon to light the night. Right there you can see that who ever wrote this had no idea that the moon doesn’t admit light. Or in revelations where it states that stars will fall from the sky during the end of time. Again stars don’t or can’t fall from the sky. Today we know that stars are the creation of all life, the larger stars create the elements needed for all life. Hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen, carbon, iron. When they die they create super novas and all of the atoms needed for life are blasted out into stellar nurseries where new stars are born. See none of this information was available when these religions were created. So they just made up what they thought to be the objective truth at the time. Personally I think there is a place for religious beliefs in society, for personal spiritual enlightenment. But don’t confuse it or use it for literal truth especially when it comes to science. Life began around 2 billion years ago and it just keeps rolling along. It’s people that create hate, wars, poverty, and yet we all live in a collaborative world where nothing is achieved by one single person. I mean whether you believe in Adam & Eve or evolution regardless we still all have a common ancestor. Just 30/50 generations ago. So why can’t we all get along and love each other, help each other for the sake of our species. I don’t get it. IMO it just boils down to one single issue, Greed. If we as humans are even capable of imagining a peaceful world then this means we’re capable of making it a reality. Be ashamed to die until you’ve won some kind of victory for humanity. H.Mann. If your searching for the meaning of life like it’s behind a tree somewhere or under a rock then you’ll never find it. Just the very fact that your alive should be enough for each of us to make our meaning of life. For its in what we do that gives us this meaning.
Anyone that mentions The Heartbreak Kid is okay with me. LOL We used to call a friend of mine from university "HRD" because he always took between 1-3 hours to get ready going out. It stood for "Human Rain Delay". HBK always makes me think of that. LOL

I know English Humor is a little odd, but, Take a look at Monty Python's , Musical Mice, lol
If kids had the same relationship with thier parents adults have with GOD Social services would take them away as it is very dysfunctional.

I love Carlin, especially old one, when he had no filter. But he is a typical dude who don’t know shit about the Bible 😂😂😂
No
He knows the Bible is bullshit like most sane people do
Carlin wasn’t afraid to call out BS on someone no matter what side they’re on
Anyone that mentions The Heartbreak Kid is okay with me. LOL
We used to call a friend of mine from university "HRD" because he always took between 1-3 hours to get ready going out. It stood for "Human Rain Delay". HBK always makes me think of that. LOL
Y'all are a cute couple. That t-shirt is cool AF, Theo. Best wishes.
