Meh just nerf to 8 and remove the highlander restriction. Warrior already struggles doing nothing when dropping Odyn. Making Brann do something similar can help keep the card in check. The only downside is that it loses the flavor.

People are complaining about Bran, but he’s just as unhealthy as most other meta decks in standard. Do you want to die to aggro Paladin turn 5, lose to completely random spells from rouge they generate turn 4, have Druids ramp into two titans on turn 6 that they can then loop infinitely, or die to bran tripling Astalors. This entire standard meta is awful. Going back to United in storm wind type BS.

I was playing against a similar standard deck earlier today, and I swear something he played turned off his Odyn off. He did eventually win due to the double battlecries, but would have won a lot sooner if he was still gaining armor/attack.
Roffle consistently forgetting how much damage the Revenant did, realizing it, and then killing someone with it never got old. The quiet moment of "oh, they're dead" is gold every time.
I do beileve a nerf for bran will happen in the future. They probably won't change the effect but defenitly will raise the mana cost. Minimum I see is to 8 mana but I wouldn't be shocked if its to 9 or even 10

Being able to cause all the battlecries related to Cthun to activate twice could cause late game Cthun to be Much stronger than it already is, and considering how this new Brann has basically destroyed the game’s balance, who knows, maybe it would be useful to counter the other ridiculous decks being played right now.

My sister in Christ it IS a quest reward for Shaman and it was amazing and yet it’s STILL weaker then Brann.
@@wisedisguise9210doesn't replace your hero power so you don't even need to spend 2 mana on HP a turn or try to utilize your guide or smth😊
You are however not guaranteed to draw it.
Let’s be honest the quest was ridiculously easy to complete anyway.

It's in Warrior, the weakest class you can give this effect to. They shrugged and wanted to try it but it turns out double Battlecry is too good lol.

I bet they‘ll either leave Brann like this or nerf him to like „If you have no duplicates, your first battlecry *each turn* triggers twice.“
thank goodness, only the first 8 drop they play each turn will have their battlecry doubled to give 30 damage. we're saved.

i would put the mech that gives you max of 11 cards in your hand for all these value plays

I feel like mechanically it would make sense for a Bran'd Odyn to give 2x the attack as armor gained - is it not the case for balance reasons?
There was a patch a little while back that specifically made it so Odyn cannot stack (can’t have more than 1 effect going)
