for noblestalk give it to shadowheart, and while you and shadow heart are during that conversation, switch to another character and go to inventory and send it to camp. Then after you finish with shadowheart you can just grab it from camp and give it to the merchant.
if you give it to the merchant and then wait until act 3, she has 2. not very helpful for memory stuff at that point, but all the guides say there’s only one in the game and that’s not even true
You can get a ring of protection (+1 to ac and saving throws) if you steal the idol for mol. to talk to mol you need to save the kid from the harpies first. The idol is pretty hard to steal, you need to use a darkness spell and then move the idol onto the ground (otherwise you'll walk into view and be spotted) then quickly grab it and teleport away. I never got a chance to talk to mol since the kid died to the harpies.
I'll also throw in this quick tip. If you don't have darkness/don't want to use a spell slot, check the vendor (think his name is Aron or something) for an arrow of darkness. Works for any class so long as you have a bow laying around. Just make sure to save beforehand cuz clicking on the idol can make your character walk around to the sides and get spotted.
You can talk to Mol if you get pickpocketed but catch the kid doing it with a perception check. Warning her off of the dangers of pickpocketing makes her quit and Mol will thank you for getting her to give it up since she didn't have the heart.
If you're having trouble with the Harpies, you can cast Silence on the beach path to the kid (10 minute duration and no spell slot cost if cast out of combat) and put the rest of the party inside the bubble, then only the character talking to the kid has to make a Harpy song resistance check. The rest of the party can step outside the bubble to cast spells and end turn inside the bubble, the check is made at the start of your turn only if you're exposed. Save attacking the singing Harpy for last, only one Harpy sings at a time and it takes the kid about 3 turns to reach the initially singing Harpy. Also, the Grove has a cheap Hunting Short Bow that gives advantage when attacking monstrosities, and Harpies count for that bonus.
Bad news. Larien’s latest patch made stealing the idol EVEN harder. Honestly, the easiest way to steal the idol is to save the grove, buy a greater invisibility scroll from Volo, and then keep one of your party members close to the door. Halsin doesn’t find out and you can give it to Mol or steal it back to sell it.
The Bhaalist armour is NUTS. Valeria shouldn’t live on a single playthrough lmao. A Rogue Fighter can put out like up to 200 damage a turn with it. Buy the armour then kill Sarevok after for his stuff.
It's definitely there, but as stated in the video, you can't have Shadowheart in the party and you need to pass the persuasion check on Ferg Drogher. If you already had Shadowheart with you when you walked by, then the vendor is gone and so is your chance.

Well since you've talked about the staff of the absolute that you have to make, there's an other staff you can gather the pieces of in the underdark it's a staff of frost. Grant the ability to cast ray of frost.
So which ones did I miss on my run..... Eh, excluding the locked ones (Dark Urge cloak, Echo of Abazigal), I missed Hellfire Greataxe (also missed the Summon Deva scroll that isn't mentioned here), Vision of the Absolute (didn't learn you could combine things until Act 2) and Staff of the Emperor (this and the Everburn Blade, never considered disarming pple for weapons). Got 12 of them, good enough for me.
I almost missed the thunder jump one because I longrested and when I came back the house had finished burning down but I just walked to where the chest was and it was on the ground
If you want to keep Alfira alive as durge, just knock her out every day. She’ll wake up after long resting so you need to come back each long rest and knock her out again until the event triggers and her stand in dies.
The Alfira scene triggers after a long rest, after nearing the bridge by the owlbear cave and the dying Dwarf Truesoul. So once I did the scene with the Dwarf, and explored the owlbear cave, I went back to the Grove, saved and would use non-leathal melee sneak attack to one-hit knock out Alfira, then long rest. Repeat until you get the cutscene with Quill
It's such a dick move from Larian to intentionally lock away the best clothing for a dark urge warlock/sorcerer. The work-around is an exploit and not intended by the devs. It's especially annoying because the canonical dark urge character has no armor or shield proficiency. It's just a weak character build unless you multiclass into tempest cleric.

How can you get that robe from Alfira in a Durge playthrough when you kill her before the end of Act 1? Like i know of no way for her to survive to Act 2 in a Durge playthrough
You can do it if you metagame the system. But essentially you gotta quick save before every long rest. Once Alfira shows up to your camp at night, reload to the last save, then go to Alfira and toggle non-lethal damage. Knock her out and then go for your long rest immediately. A different NPC would show up and be killed by Durge. Alfira won't even be mad at you for knocking her out if you do it in turn based mode and quickly enough.
Potent Robe's Gregarious Caster is useful only if you want to *not* pick Agonizing Blast. I can see it being good for multiclassing tho. Also, you don't have to hurry with Hamarhraft. Nothing happens to the chest even if you wait for the fire to die down.
No, the damage boost from Potent Robes stacks with Agonizing Blast. With 20 Charisma, that’s a flat 5-point boost to every Eldritch Blast beam, on top of the 5-point boost from Agonizing Blast. It’s a ridiculous amount of damage.

It's not really a nerf. The way it worked is how it already worked for EVERY other duel wield setup in the game. You just need two weapon fighting to make it work now, that's all.
@@Jestylor6 No. The damage output is virtually unchanged, provided that you take two weapon fighting style somewhere in your build. You already needed this fighting style for other dual wield setups (two swords for example), now you just need it for this as well.
@@Jestylor6 Then you don't need the two weapon fighting style either. Unless you were running a dex setup, your damage output isn't that much lower. Like if you just want your wizard to have a decent bonus action no spell cost ranged attack, this still works.
great video ty, will say though it highlights one of the worst aspects of the game, never knowing if you have missed something, not because you didn't explore every inch, but because, with no warning or hint, you do or don't have a party member with you, the trader who turns on shar , has the best thrown weapon in the game, if she is with you, no warning, that's it, he's gone, and soo are his items!! having to re play all of act 3 now, becasue of one 20 sec conversation, that comes out of the blue, traders shouldn't be linked to story like this

I think nerfing off-hand crossbow attacks is a dumb change...
It's not really a nerf. The way it worked is how it already worked for EVERY other duel wield setup in the game. You just need two weapon fighting to make it work now, that's all.
@@common_undead So they didn't make it less powerful & is just as easy to access, doesn't seem that way but that's good news...
@@Jestylor6 No. The damage output is virtually unchanged, provided that you take two weapon fighting style somewhere in your build. You already needed this fighting style for other dual wield setups (two swords for example), now you just need it for this as well.
@@common_undead Well that's dumb I don't wanna dual wield I just wanted a decent off-hand weapon attack as a bonus action...
@@Jestylor6 Then you don't need the two weapon fighting style either. Unless you were running a dex setup, your damage output isn't that much lower. Like if you just want your wizard to have a decent bonus action no spell cost ranged attack, this still works.
what is the name of the shield with shadowheart at 7:00 minutes?
That's a Fossilised Shell found on a Kuo-Toa in an area of the Underdark called The Festering Cove.
tnx@@Toyhouze
great video ty, will say though it highlights one of the worst aspects of the game, never knowing if you have missed something, not because you didn't explore every inch, but because, with no warning or hint, you do or don't have a party member with you, the trader who turns on shar , has the best thrown weapon in the game, if she is with you, no warning, that's it, he's gone, and soo are his items!! having to re play all of act 3 now, becasue of one 20 sec conversation, that comes out of the blue, traders shouldn't be linked to story like this
Why? And why would you reply the entire act for a hammer? You already made it through with what you had? As it is, Nyrulla (sp) is better. Unless you're a dwarf.
