If you take the mark you have chosen Satan as your master. It is as easy as that. If you take that mark just to be able to buy food, travel or do business, you have forfeited your soul and the future of your children. It is called the beast system because you will be treated like beasts, while you live you will be slaves and when you die, you will literally become food or fertilizer for the fields. Satan is not something abstract, he is a real being that will rip the head off your children and drink their blood in front of you. If Satan wins, you will wish for death.

If the anti-Christ is the 1st beast from the sea, and the sea is supposed to represent the populations of the earth - then the 2nd beast from the land (opposite to sea, opposite to wet) would need to be opposite to physical, which appears to lend itself to being spiritual... and logic is often used as an alternative to truth, whether it is true or not. A logical argument against the salvation of Christ could be an anti-holy spirit that's propagating from person to person to turn the unsaved permenantly away from salvation. It's really striking how spiritually significant the times are becoming, almost like we can see them unfolding in front of our eyes...

We happen to live in times of even indelible marks on people's faces, when music stars and many famous people are showing off face tattoos - the trend can be setting the groundwork for the notion of marks on the forehead, which would normally be a barrier to the (1st) beast's marks... no one would get it just b/c they don't want to tattoo their face, but we don't seem to have that problem any longer.
