1989 I had a red jacked up escort van with 2 disco speakers in boxes in the back, attached to a powerful amp. Pulled up in a parking spot somewhere near Tottenham with many other ravers, waiting for news on where the next meeting place was. I had this tune on tape and opened the doors to my van, we had 100s of ravers dancing around the van to a mix of Frankie Knuckles, KLF, Raze and Richie Rich. Always remember the tunes as it was such a great experience and a great night in some warehouse in the end.
As a Chicagoan, I never realized the effect House Music has on so many people around the world, different cultures, genders, age and classes. It's enlightening to read the posted comment of peoples' experiences from the south-side of Chicago to London. Truly Amazing....
In my opinion probably one of if not the best old skool tunes ever produced a totally timeless classic piece of music produced by the godfather of house and the vocals sung by another legend of house music,I'm 51 now but every time I hear this tune I am 18 again reliving the summer of love,If you know you know thank you frankie, for this all time master peice 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
So many good memories from tunes like this, the 80’s and 90’s was just different and I miss it. Todays kids will never really now how good life was then, what a time to be alive.
Frankie Knuckles and Robert Owens created timeless classics indeed! House music has a unique way of capturing and conveying emotions, and these two legends mastered the art. It's beautiful how music can leave such a lasting impact and connect people through shared emotions. This music has an incredible ability to transcend time and space, carrying the essence and spirit of its creators. It becomes a timeless connection between artists and fans, a shared experience that goes beyond the physical. It's beautiful how a piece of music can evoke such strong emotions and create a sense of connection.
Had a great time this summer, opened my field on my farm, got a load of giant speakers from a friend, a pro, and played all of Frankie's music. only about 100 of us but what a great night!

The late 80s and early 90s were an era im pleased to have lived through. I try to get it through to my kids...they will never know just how great it was. Clubs, phone boxes down the road as we didn't have mobiles. Meeting someone in a club and getting a biro from behind the bar to write a land line number down. The best days ever.
