Malaysian immigration is always a corrupted immigration.
Malaysian immigration officers get tongues tied when they see Bangladeshi and Indian tourists. Looks suspicious. Then started moving all pages of the passport . He keeps looking for reasons to take bribes. I was traveling Malaysia last February 2023. I was go to departure to Padang Basar by road immigration. After checking my passport at the By Road Immigration in Padang Basar, they told me whether my name is blacklisted. They didn't tell you anything through the border you entered. I said that, no, they didn't say anything like that. And if that was the case, they wouldn't have given me the entry. And if my name is blacklisted why did they let me in? Then the immigration officer says, that is a separate immigration so maybe they don't have a report. I said the immigration may be different but the immigration server will be the same. And I boldly said that it is impossible, it cannot happen. I was first came in Malaysia to by Air in 2014 and went out to by Air. now I have come to by Road from Singapore and I am going Thailand to Bye Road in this border. You double check. My previous passport is also here. I have previous Malaysian visa also in old passport. check it first. After then he turned the pages of my passport again for a while. Then he told me - tell me your date of birth. I said correctly.
Then he paled his face and said no it is another person not you 😅. Then my passport was stamped for exit. My wife's passport was first sealed and then my passport was being messed with. As if I was scared and quickly left him with some bribe. I couldn't do anything because I was stuck in my place. Another thing, when you entered Malaysia, if Malaysia Immigration asks you how long you will stay in Malaysia, then they will write the date which you say on their arrival permit seal. So try to go back within that date or you will face immigration trouble. It does nothing just to take bribe. But it is important to be careful. Otherwise, if it is blacklisted, you will not be able to enter that country even in your life.

While entering from Singapore by road this month, Malaysian immigration asked me for a hard copy of my Visa while I had the e-copy of the Visa on my mobile, they took me to a distant place and asked for money to print the E Visa!
