    I wish all companies would do this sort of thing, great to see an official maintenance video.

    This is a great vid. Most everyone I know assumes to lube the bolt... I actually had to relube everything after watching this

    Thanks for the heads up! I did notice the metal piece. It's good to know I'm not missing a vital component!

    The Etha is Great, have run over 10 boxes of paint and yet to chop one ball. Shoots straight and consistent.

    Question I greased everything up o rings and everything my gun is still leaking ... and I can kind of hear it inside the gun it’s not the tank or anything like that not the hose at first I felt air coming out of the bolt lube itdown and that helped but it’s still leaking

    Thank you for the easy to follow step by step instructions. I just pulled mine apart to check everything and decided to wipe it down and lube it up just for practice. One thing though: I couldn't find the poppet spring to save my life. Is my gun missing a piece, or did I miss a step? Assembled it back together and it fires just fine.

      Hey my man!!! Same here, you may never see this but it helped me out as I was panicking that I lost it!! But to be honest I checked my poppet backend for spring wear marks and my end cap also and couldn't find any. So your comment makes me think maybe some Etha's came without the poppet spring?!? Thank you anyway! Was hoping I would find a comment with someone just as confused as me; Gun shoots amazing!!

    My etha did not have a spring or the insert where the spring goes instead it had a little silver piece. The gun works I'm just checking to see if that would affect anything.

    Hey Ryan, Planet Eclipse had a "recall" on their spring poppet design. They currently have a springless design and in its place is a small stainless piece of metal with a tiny hole and an O-ring....could be that you have the springless poppet.

    Hey I bought a used etha and when I air the marker up and turn the eyes off to make a shot without paint in it it takes like 3 shots before it will actually shoot. It makes like a ting noise for the 2/3 trigger pulls then it will start shooting. Almost like it's not getting all air or something

    My etha has been popping balls constantly and I don't know why, could it be maybe because I don't have a bolt tip?

    • @Mike_Tater
      @Mike_Tater 10 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      its 100% because you dont have a bolt tip

    Hey jack I recently contacted via pbnation and you referred me to a guy who told me to send my gun to a guy in my state that runs a car auto Mechanic shop? My etha is leaking down the barrel and replaced all the orings and still leaks.

    Just a note for everyone, at some point since 2012 when this video was published, the Etha does not come with that black spring.
    While cleaning my marker, I was super worried that I lost the spring only to realize that I ever had one.

    ETHA stopped shooting during the game.
    I disassembled and saw a broken bolt. How is this even possible?
    Is it a matter of lubrication? Photo:

    Etha = entry level , Etek 3 = Midrange, Etek 3 has an LPR.. you can really fine tune your gun, more than you would an etha.... btw what's your definition of better?

  • @92Gameface
    @92Gameface 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    They are both midrange the etek is a little better(easy to maintain and more reliable) but they both do the same thing. But if you have the cash go for the etek.

      +Divad Mlap Yes. It's gentile enough. The other eclipse guns are obviously more gentile; but an Etha will do more than fine.
