3:05 Chris did not have access to better weapons. Jill gets the grenade launcher which is the best weapon in the game, whereas Chris gets the flamethrower, but only in the underground section, where it is not very useful. Other than that, they both get all of the same weapons.
I tried playing the first game hd remaster and I could not get into it. I tried multiple times over the years. I'm sure it was ahead of its time, but I thoroughly enjoy the newer games a lot more. Moving on to the remakes!
Yeah i tried it the other day for the first time and I just could not get into especially as a keyboard player, the camera angles were bad honestly and the game is by far the slowest of all the games. Never got the hype for the game tbh but I did enjoy the rest of the series fully.

I started playing re1 hd for the first time last week and nearly dropped it the first hours because its clunky mechanics, i am used to it now and it became one of my favorite games ever. Play it and you won't regret it, it is a masterpiece.

It’s so frustrating not being able to quickly navigate through the mansion, especially considering all the moments in the game where you’re completely lost, adding to the frustration. I’d love to be able to finish it one day though

great video. im playing the second game first because i cant stand the first one's gameplay so this is really useful. im conflicted though, i wonder if the tyrant's introduction in re2 would have been more impactful if i knew about him from the first game but him just appearing out of nowhere and becoming a semi permanent threat was incredible
Doesn't this mean you'll be playing six again? You know for the time line, which I told you about the first time you did the first video. You'll be one your own for the 7th game though.

I get (and respect) your opinion but RE 1 remakes gameplay isn't that bad, it's just a different style (and really old). I'm not someone who grew up with it either BTW.

@@DjamesBass The fixed perspective is fine but I think dynamic is better, it also has more of a chance of being used again as it is still being used in games like DMC and The Quarry. It's also easier to use.
@@DjamesBass It's like fixed camera angles but the camera shifts with you. It was used in the original God of War games, still used in Devil May Cry, and used recently in a game called The Quarry (though that game switched to 3rd person every so often).
That's exactly how I was, and I watched this video.I really wanted to play RE1 so I would would know the story I was getting into and all that, but the sheer amount of backtracking and all of that was just really unfun for me.
