Isshiki being a 7th seat was a frigging plot enhancing twist to me when i first watched this (if yall wondering why im saying this,it was stated that this school is a frigging battlegrounds and the 10 seats have what it takes to be on top of this hellish school.Imaginr my shock when i learned that the exibitionist,funny dude was the 7th seat)

With how much Erina was built up to be the immediate "antagonist" and they introduce a guy meant to be 3 levels higher than her? He's got to be THAT goated. Soma may be good, but his journey won't be a cakewalk either.
You should watch chef arnold poernomo he is from indonesia, and he try to make a dish from this anime, and strangely enough, according to him as a chef, the food in this anime is very successful and delicious, the tittle is shokugeki no arnold 😁
I heard the author have a chef who counsel what recipe is acceptable to use in the manga, at least up till the final arc of the manga. It is why the cooking part and the explanation of ingredient stopped being a thing in the final arc.
