Daryl has been my favorite since his first words on the show. There was just something about him that made him stand out to me. Norman Reedus is my favorite actor, and I love how he portrays Daryl. I truly believe Daryl Dixon will survive the series.

However you view Beth and Daryl's time together, you can't deny they meant something to each other. Beautiful job with this. The nightmarish, soul-shaking heartache the survivors have to endure is almost too much to contemplate, but at the same time many of them have found friends and loved ones amidst the rubble, and perhaps their lives have meaning and carry more weight than they ever would've before. We'll never know the path untaken.

Well... I cried. lol. (yes, I know I'm a wimp. I have a big heart and I can't help it xD) This is why I can't stand when people act like Daryl is just a tough guy with no cares. He cares for the group and the people around him. I think the worst thing for the walking dead writers to do would be to leave him for last and let him outlive the group. If they killed off everyone and left him alive, I think he'd be completely lost and broken. Yes, he is physically strong enough and he has enough knowledge of survival to survive on his own, but without having those who he has grown the closest to around him, I feel like he would mentally and emotionally shut down. It always breaks my heart to see the scene where Beth dies because of how it effects Daryl. Ugh. I gotta stop talking about it all before I start crying again. lol. Stupid fictional characters keep getting to me.

i just found this video again that i watched when i was 9 i’m turning 14 in 1 week exactly it’s so crazy how i’ve changed so much since the first time i’ve watching this video
everytime daryl finds hope it gets taken from him. he doesnt open up and everytime he has so far something happens. beth was his light at the end of the tunnel. you can tell how affected he his by her death.

As always, awesome video! Perfect song, clips, and timing. And it made me realize something I've seemingly overlooked as a TWD fanatic. Especially with the lyrics to the song that say "why'd you have to wait? you found me, you found me. Just a little late you found me"...is really true of everyone Daryl has loved and tried to save and came so close but didn't. Sophia, Merle, Beth...the only one that isn't true for is Carol (well, besides Rick as they are like brothers). I hope S6 brings Daryl some happiness, or at least I hope he doesn't suffer another great loss. I hate that ppl still underestimate this character...

And yeah you're right. Daryl is a kind of person (I think) who strong outside but "broken" inside for example the scene where he cries next to the tree. He had big losses like Beth or his brother. He always try to do the right thing and keep his friends safe. And like you said I hope he finds some happiness after these bad things.
I'd love to see you do a tribute video for Daryl to a perfect song for him, it's called Broken Arrows by Daughtry I think. (come on it's a perfect Daryl Dixon song! Especially if you listen to the words). I couldn't make vids like you to save my life or I'd give it a go..

I really loved the potential of Daryl being the town recruiter with Aaron in s5. I think it really rang true with who Daryl is, a super capable badass who still believes in going out and looking for people. Which says a lot after the trauma he went thru with Beth’s death, even after that he’s still that same guy who wouldn’t stop looking for Sophia. I think from s6 on they lost sight of that.
