For the video the scape is beautiful! So natural! Like it was pulled right out of the water! Like it belongs in a museum for aquatics! Thanks for vid Filipe!
It's definitely something special. It's something that I'm not used to see or even keep, but it's eye opening looking to this and try to understand the other side. I really learned a few things with them and by looking to some of their tanks, I will take a few things in consideration from now on.
No doubt, this layout reflects the expertise of it's creators! Evident by the overall niche look i.e. a shallow riverbank where small tetras dominate instead of a cliché biotope in which angelfish & festive cichlids from deeper waters mingle with small tetras that do not actually occur in Nature. Magnificent layout! ❤❤❤😍❤❤❤
Untill I saw the works at by you, Ms Balbi and the team at littletreedesignbiotopes, I didn't know that biotopes could be so beautiful. Now I would seek more information as I can about biotopes. Can you pls let me know if these scapes use Co2? Can it be used? And if tanin water is fine for plants?
Only mine and Balbi's tank will have CO2. You can always add it considering the plants used. If they are low demanding also low light intensity, no need to use unless you want to have a certain ph and chasing the perfect values. Otherwise most of Biotopes cna run without it
@@FAAOAquascaping thank you for the kind reply and the information Sir...This is definitely an interesting concept...Never realised both styles can exist together... 😀😊
@@FAAOAquascaping Exactly... those were really well done... particularly the 1800 litre one and the one with round river rocks... And now 2 more beautiful tanks are added...
There is algae in the tank, but it is natural. Very pretty, i very like it, an inspiration. The wood, the dead leaves :-) It's like looking in a steam.
The making of will be impossible form my side because I wasn't there.. It was created during a live event by zoom if I'm not wrong and don't know if they have footage about it. Probably they have... I will ask! I really need to work on the subtitles!
I see algae algae algae - on plants! An Aquarium is a artificial biotop and needs care, especially as the supplements the plants need are used up! CO-2 belongs in there, so that the algae are suppressed and the growth of the higher plants is strengthened! Because an artificial biotope like an aquarium works on the basis of a natural biotope, but it is much too small to sustain itself and to make all its inhabitants happy / to provide them with the essentials because the supplements in the starting water are dissipated consume quickly for a few days, maintaining the living conditions is only possible with care, means CO-2 fertilization, nutrients for plants in the open water zone and in the substrate, the right light sufficient for photosynthesis of the plants, the right warmth in the open water zone and in the substrate (floor heating cable, otherwise the plants have cold feet), thereby nitrification in the substrate, filtering by bacteria and processing of nutrients by reducing iron chelate complex III to iron chelate complex II, because only this for the Plants are available, so to speak "edible", and the correct filtering via external filters, which make up approx. 5 to 10% of the tank volume and its real water delivery rate (after deducting the loss of performance due to resistances such as hoses, suction strainer, height compensation, filter medium) circulates approx. 2 to 3 times the entire pool volume! And this maintenance of the essential supplements is monitored by intelligent control electronics and, if necessary, automatically counteracted, i.e. raised to previously programmed values, only with this an artificial biotope remains stable in all areas!
Algae is quite normal in a biotope. This is not just a normal planted aquarium... In natural habitats, algae are visible and seen in most of the parts. Of course some people freak out about it and don't like it, but it's just something natural as a biotope is.
I will fix the subtitles later! I hope you enjoy it!
Rare to find an adequately sized aquarium for the fish relative to correct representation of habitat. Excellent
This is a masterpiece! Esta es una obra maestra! This sets a new standard in biotope aquariums.
It's indeed a great aquascape!
You guys did an amazing job during the event 👌
You filmed this biotope in nature did you? I saw it on olivers youtube channel
A good man-made biotope where fish will feel at home. I enjoy watching and filming biotopes.
FISH IS SO BEAUTIFUL
This is absolutely stunning, a real work of beauty. Well done mate.

Hi fillipe .pure nature very nice ,thanks for sharing this vid .😉👍👌🖐
Thanks Theo!
Beautiful!
Necesito un acuario así.... Ufff... Que pasada
Excelente video, felicidades, un abrazo desde BOLIVIA 🔥
Menuda maravilla de Acuario. Fantástico vídeo Filipe!
Muchas gracias 😉👌
Beautiful tank, as the dead leaves break down how do you prevent the detritus from settling on the plants and killing them?
Amazing job guys 👌 could stare at it for hours
They definitely did a great job!
Muito bonito esse aquário, muito natural.
i love biotope aquariums and this one is fantastic!!!!
Indeed!!!
Eyegasm😍
Just stunning! Wow! 😲👍
Impressive, isn't it? 👌
Stupendo Felipe!!!!
Saludos maes excelente
Fantástico! Enhorabuena!
Brilliant
They did a great job!
Very nice.
Even without subtitles
Subtitles will be good to understand the concept, how and where they got the inspiration. Everything makes more sense. I will try to fix them.

Świetny zbiornik 🍁👌
Very very pretty. Congratulations. A question: which plant is the green one that has emerged? Gracias ☺️
It's Cyperus helferi 😉

We can use aquascaping to improve a bit the esthetics, but the ones I have seen over there were really well done.

It's quite normal to have algae... It's a completely different concept of a Nature aquarium in aquascaping. 😉

Mic dropped. Beyond words. Please insert subs, i would be happy with google/youtube translate ones. And making of video would be great also.

Orinoco Biotope?? Where are the angels ?
They have decided to use just small fish!
Angelfish do not live in the Morichales de Morganito
Thanks Victor for your explanation
