- Part 6 in an audio-lecture series through 1 & 2 Corinthians, taught by Pastor David Guzik. Paul's corrective yet loving epistles to the church in Corinth stand as an incredibly important and instructive message for believers and the church as a whole to this very day.

If this was a baseball game... David Guzik hit this out of the park putting this passage of Scripture into context...!!!! We need more teachers like David Guzik. I just studied this chapter praying for discernment and wisdom then I watched this video. It was right in line with with what David Guzik teaches here... Why it is so important to read the entire Word in context! Sadly many use this Scripture for their own agenda... They only teach verse 9 & 10, yet never reading verse 11 or the rest of this chapter... What they do is chase people away from God... This passage should make all realize how much the Lord loves us. And we need to know that our bodies belong to God. And that should make us all run to God even when we fail!
This is absolutely incredible information. Now it shows me who the Masters we all serve linger only superficially beneath the surface of every mortal body.
If we look close enough we can see!
Thank you so much for this teaching. It reinforces the decision I'd already come to to rid myself of immoral reading material.
Thankyou for these brilliant sermons Pastor David. They have been very clarifying for me in finding parts of my walk with God that I have neglected, but also validating for me in those I have nurtured, thanks to God's goodness, because God is goodness itself. Praise God that I am better for having a more fully repentant heart so as to be more well-armoured spiritually and to draw closer to Him ❤️🔥🙏🏻
Can’t imagine this holding true in our societies today
Church brethren are often the first to call in the court saying
But it’s my right 😔
1:02:39 1:02:48 Amen 🙏

A consolation
This ‘ church ‘ where we ‘go to’
Will soon close giving way to online and in house meetings
The only way to stay open would be to compromise and stop preaching the gospel
Wow this is a great insight. I do agree. Maybe it's for the best. Maybe the unfaithful immoral will repent in house churches. I was attending a 12k member church u have no idea what was going, so disturbing I wonder if they are scared of losing members
@@Oilofmercy 8Now we know that the law is good, if one uses it legitimately. 9We realize that law is not enacted for the righteous, but for the lawless and rebellious, for the ungodly and sinful, for the unholy and profane, for killers of father or mother, for murderers, 10for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave tradersb and liars and perjurers, and for anyone else who is averse to sound teaching 11that agrees with the glorious gospel of the blessed God, with which I have been entrusted. 1 Timothy 1
Oh how expository this message is. Thank you so much
Thank you for your kind words and support, may God be with you.
I still have a hard time understanding how all things are lawful. Sin is still sin and to actively, consciously decide to sin and do it, even worse.
