    I just picked up a very similar stove, same model and condition, at an estate sale for less than $10. I plan to clean it up as shown here and resell it. Thanks for the informative video.

    Amazing design and build quality, compactness, and power for such an antique stove. Perfection indeed.

    I have one too... from my dad who found it on the flea market in Amsterdam in the 1960's. We have more items like this. We used them while camping for many years. I never use alcohol to start it. Just pump, let some leadfree gasoline flow in the starter cup. Close valve again and lite the starter. When you think it's hot enough open the valve and it works. No need to carry a separate container with alcohol with you when having gasoline.

    Thank you Ernie... I love Liquid Gas stoves... Something about the "Roar" of the burner in action!! The Benzin Baby looks good!

    Thanks for another great video Doc. Like you, I love tinkering with anything mechanical. I've done quite a few vintage camping stoves such as Optimus, Phoebus, Coleman and Radius but still keeping my eyes open for a little Enders. My latest obsession is restoring vintage chainsaws. The old magnesium alloy German Stihl saws are works of art. Old outboard motors are great to restore as well. Love the classic designs and simplicity of the old machines! Keep up the great work!

      What kind of gas is it using? Like gas station gas?

    A set of nut drivers would be handy for jobs like this.

    Thanks to share this kind of video. Just one question, what was the liquid that you use to clean all stove parts.

    I paid 20 Euros last week. Why are they so expensive on Ebay? Just because they are a collector`s item, or do they have any advantage above a normal camping gas stove?

    • @razbiton173
      @razbiton173 หลายเดือนก่อน

      it has its collectors tax. it is no longer made, and it was made to last unlike nowdays products, so theres that too. it has liquid fuel advantages over gas stoves, but thats for every liquid vs gas stove. tbh you could get msr or primus that would outperform this little stove but this one is magical and stood is time proven so its an amazing piece of gear.
