The same thing happened to me about a month ago! I was trying to trade my neon turtle in peace, and this guy traded me and put up a mega turtle. I said that I didn’t have adds for his mega turtle, but he just said if I added some random pets he could do the trade. I was a little suspicious, but I added a few pets. While I was adding the pets, He swapped his mega turtle for a regular turtle. Thankfully I realized he swapped it and declined. Stay safe out there!

Happened to me, a random guy traded me and asked for my nfr cow and nfr unicorn offering a mfr kangaroo, he said « i need the cow and the unicorn quickly » and asked me to add a blue toy. I didnt think it was suspicious or anything but i still felt something (curiosity ig) and while i searched and added the toy, he quickly switched the kangaroo into a normal one and i accepted the second trade, thankfully i noticed the change and declined.
I don't understand how people fell for it, tho because if you pay attention you won't get scammed so ig the people in the comments that said they got scammed did not pay attention probably

I think adopt me should either take pets or trading out of the game. It’s ruining the community and their are only more scammers coming. For each one they ban ten more appear. Thanks for this video though!
You might be right. I'm beginning to suspect that they could be selling those very pets back through other places that sell pets like eBay. And then actually making real cash.
Reason why I left:So I was trading my best pets which was like all my leg 2 nfr phoniex and a ride croc and some regular phoniex and mid-high legendary for a crow.The trade was successful but neither of us received the pets so now I literally have no good pets
