This house just SCREAMS good taste and class.
I was 14 when Jackie became First Lady. I would read everything I could find that had to do with her. I would cut out pictures of her, study what she was wearing then try to dress like she did. My mother and I would each put on the famous pill box hat, and white gloves for church. What a beautiful person she was. I miss her.
Some people are born into money and others can only dream of having a house like that. Absolutely stunning. I live very close to McLean, VA too...lots of money there.

This house is really pretty inside. The wallpaper, ceilings, interior design is all gorgeous. This is the first estate home I've really thought was pretty inside. A lot of thought went into everything, and you can tell.
Reminds me of the house "set" wherr High Society was filmed with Grace Kelly, another Irish-American beauty who became a Princess!!! How ironic they became friends as well.

What a big beautiful home 🏡 Jackie must of had the life growing up in a privileged upbringing!!! Especially in the 50’s and 60’s when homes were especially small and quaint.
She really had a charmed life, so many beautiful homes and travels, it would seem she had the perfect life, until the assassination. Very sad.

I liked Jacqueline. She grew up with money, style, class upper crust breeding etc. When she went to France as first lady in the 60s she scared the pants off the snotty French because she was way past them. She made us look good.

It is a beautiful home, but I am sure it has been renovated, they didn’t have stainless steel appliances back then. And I don’t think they had open concept with huge center islands . I am sure Jacky would love it. I am sure it was beautiful in its original state also.

I especially like the two pools and the view on the river. Very beautiful house, although the furniture a bit old fashioned to my taste. I also like the horse shoes collection above the fire place and the big terrace with steps. And the cute bell tower. (sigh)
