【Australia】Shopping in an Aussie supermarket【Souvenirs】【Differences between Japan & Oz】【Woolworths】

This time Mama takes us shopping in an Australian supermarket and introduces some items that make good Aussie souvenirs for friends and family while also introducing some of the differences between Japan and Australia.
Mama visited Woolworths, fondly called “Woolies” by the locals, with newlyweds Britt and Simon. Of course, it is possible to buy souvenirs at the airport and gift shops, but you can also pick up some great items (and cheaper!) at the local supermarket. As the cost of living is a bit higher in Australia, finding affordable items is key to sharing your trip to Oz with everyone!
We all recommend visiting the local supermarket for all visitors to Australia - tourists, working holidayers, international students - as a great place to get a feel for the cultural differences.

コロナ検査キットは先日、近所(日本)のスーパーで見かけました。ドラッグストアの半額以下の値段でした。安っぽいパッケージだったので、それなりの商品なのかもしれないけど…(ドラッグストアでは店員が手渡しだったけど、スーパーではレジ横にガムみたいに陳列してありました)最近、日本ではドラッグストアがスーパーマーケット化(ドラッグストアで生鮮食品売ってる)してきてるんで、オーストラリアと似たような感じになるのかもしれませんね。

ありがとうございます｡そうですね、研究用の検査キットは最近大量に格安で売っているのを見た事がありますが､医療用のものは薬剤師さんから説明を受けて購入しますね。
確かにここ数年でドラックストアの勢いが凄いと感じます。お肉なども売っていてもうスーパーですね｡

広くて良いですね、運動になります、、、でも車社会だから、これだけでは不十分だと思いますが、、、これが日本だと良いのですが、なにせ狭い国なのでダメですね、、、、
