What a crybaby. Wireless dongles for headset can be stowed away on the earcup itself. You can tuck the dongle inside the earcup foam gaps while charging. Basic. Being resourceful in how you use and utilize your gadget is your responsibility. Not Razer's. Second, do you even know why a dongle is required for gaming compared to Bluetooth? It's latency. It took me years and almost a dozen of wireless Bluetooth headset and earbuds (Sony, Apple Airpods Pro, Sennheiser, you name it) and all have latency. Timing and audio-video sync is paramount for movie and gaming immersion. But for casuals, I understand how you can enjoy delayed jump (tight platformers)/supers and audio cues (fighting games)/gun (fps) sounds. If I want a Bluetooth one, you shouldn't even look at Razer in the first place. You are not the target market for this headset. For latency itself, wide gaming compatibility and the neutral look (detachable mic), this is a good headset.

Offering replacements for rare problems like this is cheaper for the manufacturer and consumer than checking every headset. Could also be that his sound card is broken or something. He isn't reviewing the microphone in that section, he is reviewing the quality control of the company or his audio interface which isn't mentioned as a goal of the video

My personal opinion is, you can configure this using 3rd party EQ software for this Barracuda X. And since it has 4 hybrid mode (PC, Mobile, Switches, Playstation) for person like me who loves to play hybridly, It is 100% useful for my needs. People like me who loves to play Casual games and keeping a low profile gaming set definietly worth to buy. But those who're loved shooting games that need surronds sound 7.1 i recommend you to not buy wireless headphones, but wired headphones instead such as Razer Kraken Tournament Edition or Razer Blackshark V2/V2 X. Wireless sometimes aren't perfect as they are when comes to competitive things, keep them simple and casual as it is.

They are designed to play, not to listen to music or podcasts, although it is true that they are not perfect, I consider that you complain a lot and want to demand the best of the best from headphones that only cost 99.99, which in my opinion is acceptable for a low profile headphone without RGB that I can use not only for gaming but also for everyday work etc. For me, that is a great added value.
I used this headset like 4 times since purchasing them. Went to use it today for the 5th time and the right ear phone is much lower than the left. Idk why this just happened all of a sudden. Very tragic. Trying to fix them now. Trying to use them on PS5 and just can't find a way to adjust them.
Imo a dongel isnt bad had the corsair void pro and am using the hyperx cloud 2 rn. 😅i actually think the connectivity of it is really good you can use it on basicly anything phone pc switch very nice all the other had dongels and they where usb so no phone or switch connectivity( I should add it's the Kingston version of hypercloud the old one not the ruined hp version)
Its a PoS that doesn't last long.... even replacement headsets have the same issues... The microphone issue is a legit problem with hundreds of people having the same issue.
You set your expectations too high for a $99 product. I just bought the product and I think it is a miracle that it offers such features at this price. The microphone volume is a little low, but I think it's okay, it works very well.. I think Barracuda X can be preferred instead of buying HS70 at this price. If you want to have driver support, it is most logical to choose the 2022 model, but the Razer THX surround does the job. (for a certain fee). The only thing I can't understand is why did you release 2022 version and now give driver support Razer?
2 years later…i purchased this headset today and i’m returning it tomorrow. for 99, it sounds like complete doo doo. i was using a 50 pair of anker headphones until now and it sounded the same if not slightly better
Bad review overall. While you present yourself as an audiofile your own video has a poor sound qualiry. Volume diference while you move your head, no pop filter before the mic that makes all the Ps, Bs just be an huge disruption. Overperformed voiceover that sounds just fake and annoying. You might say okay just another hater but how is it possible that you failed to record anything with this headset? All the other reviews shows that this mic quality isn't the best but it works! And the cherry on top... Dongle is small and you might loose it while showing it with Nintendo Switch. There is no bluetooth connectivity with Switch so PLEASE tell me what better option do you see in connecting your headset to this console?! Random bluetooth connector that is a bit bigger and less possible to lose? Or a jack 3.5 to usb c adapter that will be connected to the cable that you will carry with? Poor work but hopefully somebody will get tricked to use your affiliate links that are so much more important to promote more than acrtual tests of the product. For anybody being interested in this headset please look somewhere else for an actual test because here you won't find anything besides the poor and unprofessional opinion.

I think your product is defective, hence I don't think this is a valid review. But don't get me wrong, I think ur review details etc are very good.

In my opinion, you are complaining too much for things that could easily be resolved. You also got a broken microphone as my friend's is very clear.
