I think that should be okay! People make mistakes sometimes. It just means that they probably took it from their interpretation, rather than a lyric site, which, in my eyes, is fairly remarkable! I'm not trying to call you out or anything, I just felt the need to say this. I apologize if this came across as, well, cross. XD
+Joslin Cheek may be I'm wrong because English is not my native language but I thought "on the edge of tonight" had something wrong because Alex pronounces "the" as /de/ instead of /di/ (as when the article is followed by a vowel).
I'll be honest - I'm not a big fan of All Time Low's new stuff. I think a lot of people dislike them, now, because it seems like they changed styles to gain popularity. So basically, they sold-out. I can listen to their first four records endlessly, they were that good. Then they made the travesties that are Nothing Personal (not completely terrible) & Dirty Work (total crap). After losing much of their original following, and gaining massive amounts of teenage fangirls, they made "Don't Panic/DPILN" which was middle ground. A mix of old and new. That brought back a lot of old fans with hope that they might return to their summery/melodic pop punk days. Unfortunately for them, they followed that up with an album that's aimed at pre-teen 5SOS fans, and Pierce the Veil fans. I realize that a band can't make the same music forever, but their cry for attention is all too obvious. I'm still a fan, and always will be. I just feel like they've lost their roots. At least Yellowcard will always stay the same XD
+Jesse Belc i don't think you understand the process of writing music do you? i mean its easy to say that for someone like Justin bieber or something... but pierce the veil, all time low and most other musicians write their own music. the point is, as a music writer myself, you write what's on your mind, you write about what inspires you and whats around you. you write about what you feel and it becomes a part of you. yeah their style changed, and they changed too. its part of being a human being and people like you need to stop assuming its always to gain attention. and clearly you haven't been to their live shows because i can assure you, they are still the same dirty minded, humorous yet caring people they've always been. and i don't get why people bitch about dirty work because honestly there was some awesome songs on that album. i mean you cant honestly tell me you didn't enjoy 'daydream away' and 'paper moon'
Hey! First of all, there's an apology in order. I'm definitely not proud of that comment. I was probably overcome with feels from the sheer disappointment Future Hearts game me XD It's so easy to be cynical, and I'm no exception. There are, however, a few false assumptions on your part. 1.) I am a very active song writer/musician 2.) It was more of a vent, versus a plot to gain attention. 3.) My comment was based on the albums' lyrics, not its sound. Anyway, I was way too harsh. It's not a terrible record, minus a few bleh tracks here and there. I guess it just sounds like they lost the genuineness to their lyrics. It just sounds like they're spitballing, crafting songs that would lure in 5SOS fangirls, lol. It's definitely gotten better with repeated listens, though. As has Nothing Personal & Dirty Work. It's just really hard as an old fan to accept complete change XD They definitely haven't lost their fun loving, childish, youthful spirit, which is why I'm still a fan. They may have lost their edge and punk, but they're still pretty fly. Whatever makes them happy. It's none of our places to tell them what music to make. Have a nice day!
