Who are the most original, creative forward thinking/looking musicians in Brazil today? This sounds very well played, and the craftsmanship is excellent. That said, it generally sounds like a lot of Brazilian music I've heard that has been done before, but I'm in no way knowledgeable about the idiom so I probably shouldn't pass much judgement. I'm curious about something akin to jazz meets Brazil, meets 21 century classical composition. Does such a thing exist?
That's a lot of great players who should have their names listed in the description!
Arrocha povo
Very good

While she isn't a jazz musician, Lea Freire's work is beautiful, especially more recent compositions on piano.
