Wearing harness but not fastening it someplace and lifting with chains cause paint to be damadged with corrosion following.... use soft slings other then that intresting video

Rigging chains for lifting jib sections? Wouldn't be my first choice. Nylon slings would dramatically reduce the amount of "routine" damage while erecting and disassembly. Especially wrapping the chains around the main cords to roll the jib head forward on the ground.
