Everyone of your foals make me wish I was 30 years younger. What I would give to have one of those foals. Thank you for your channel. Brightens my day.
You know I had to hang on, so I could hear your joke of the day!......LOL 🤣 HAY FEVER 🤣 One of my favorites so far!! Love and Blessings dear friends ❤️🙌 Jennifer
I used to own a horse called Bloody Baron his grandsire was dash for cash. many of your horses names remind me of him. he passed away when I was 18 at 23 years old.
The Horses and foals look good and healthy.Good looking horses there Jerry. Thanks Jerry for showing us the Mares, the foals, Yearlings and a couple of Studs.
It is amazing how your livestock looks so good. Being in northern Iowa and we are green with grass and forages 6 months of the year. My horses would starve to death if I moved down there. 😂
Probably not, they would adjust. I have taken livestock and moved them, it takes them a couple years and they are great at it. The first couple of years they do have a hard time and need supplement
Got a real late start tonight Jerry. Been at our grandsons hockey tournament all day 🥱. Horses and foals all look great, as usual 😉. Love your channel Jerry. Really love seeing all the foals Monster sired, cause you know he's my favorite Stud!! 🐴. Love and Blessings to you all at the PDR ❤️🙌 Jennifer
Thank you for the beautiful 3 yr colt and trained to ride and possibly started on roping maybe a little help from the branding crew. Maybe try putting the microphone in your shirt pocket, i think that will cure the wind problem.
Amazing how these horses can protect their foul's from preditor's!! I just saw "I am a survivor" where cyotees attacked the heard leader of the goats not even 1 km from the house, the lights,... This little goat was a hero: during daytime the coyotes attacked or only one and he fought them untill all other's from the herd were in safety. I know horses are bigger,..but foul's, especially new born's,...you know what I mean. When I think about some horses here being in boxes and stables, they would never be able to protect a herd or themselves- I think or does the instinct come through? 🙋♀️❤️🇦🇹🐎
This instinct comes into play with herd animals. I have seen it in horses. I have also seen it in my cow herds. Thanks for the input. I appreciate your thoughts.
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz Thank you!! Yes to watch cow's is amazing, too. Here in the flatland of Austria we do not have cow's, the only one's I saw as kid where their whole life in a stable (terrible)- so we began to learn that cow's are stupid. No they are not, but I don't have to tell you this. Thank you for your wonderful videos!!🙋♀️❤️🇦🇹🐎
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz That was in the past from where I am (Burgenland) in Austria but it is a huge problem. The gov has it's finger's in the meat and milk prize and the cow holder's get almost nothing. So from the surviving point of view they were forced to put 100 cow's in a stable for 60. I hope this is illegal now, we had so many protest's bc of this. And in the mountain area's they are free in here's grasing. Some stupid tourist's who don't know that this is all private property and only bc the people want support their local friends ways are open with 100 sign's:" Leave the animals alone, do NOT take dog's with you,.."- Yes there was a deadly accident with a woman and her dog a few year's ago. The dis barked, the cow's had calves and attacked. The woman did not let go of the leech and was dead. And the cow owner had to pay 100.000€ to the family 🤦♀️🤦♀️. After this the cow and land owner's said they will not let anybody go up the mountain anymore and for what do the tourist's need their dog's with them. This was a few year's ago and every summer the fight beginn's again: the area need's tourism but they don't listen. I think they made all together a fond and everyone put money inside if such a thing should happen again and the judge being the same idiot like with that woman from Germany. Another story for you. If it get's to much, tell me, it is ok. 🙋♀️❤️❤️🇦🇹🐎
Beautiful horses. Horse fly’s that reminds me of a time I had caught one an tied some sewing line on an had a kite it was a blast . Hey you all take care from the heat
Besides Trigger and Czar (pre-injury...best wishes that changes w full recovery), are any of the studs ridden regulary -- whether pleasure, compentition or ranchin'' -- or are they pretty much "retired" for breeding only (like the mares)
Trigger is ridden a lot. Monster is ridden a lot. RKR is ridden also. Mr. Az was ridden a lot before he died. All the young stuff are ridden a lot. The old men are not.
Great plan. To much switching weakens a blood line.. great looking foals as always ! Some day I’ll have one. Just not today. Lol ! Thanks for the vid !
did the paint horse throw you at some point, Jerry? you never mention her or say antyhign about her. please give us a little info. i don't think ive ever seen her with a foal. is she a a mare?

Being stung by a horse fly is no fun. I guess we all get at least one. Worst I ever got was a stinken yellow jacket. It left a permascar.
Ross sure looks like his dad.
3:30 Boy, she's ready to pop!
Any time now. 3 left.
@@jheartquarterhorsesaz I can't wait to see them!!
That blue roan yearling you got back into the paddock
Wow! Beautiful! What's the story on that yearling? Ty
She is going to Pennsylvania.
Is that bay mare going to have twins ??? Mannnn she’s big !!
She is a big gal for sure.
They are living in a dusty area, you don't brush and groom them and they are still SO SHINY!
They are very healthy and happy 😊

I love that Chex mare. Do you have a price list posted somewhere?
3500 to 5500.
I want the first stud colt out of Monster and City Girl
It will be awhile. It is doable. Remind me in a year or put a deposit and then it is on record.

Who cut the fence on those yearlings, that was real dangerous letting those colts on the track.
No one. Sediment filled up the cattle guard and they walked out.
Youre so gracious about responding to questions. Thanks!
I like to visit. Thank you for taking the time to share your view.
Do you switch the studs around or do they always stay with the same mares. If they are switched around, how often? Great content. 👍
We do switch some and some stay the same. Just depends on the off spring.
Great plan. To much switching weakens a blood line.. great looking foals as always ! Some day I’ll have one. Just not today. Lol ! Thanks for the vid !

😊
Do you have a count on how many mares yet to foal
3
How old are the colts when they are sold and leave the ranch
They start to leave at about 4 to 6 months depending on time.

Juvenile Delinquents🤣
That age can get into some trouble 👿
Do horses have twins?
Yes they do. We have not had any here.
