Freo used to have a lighter green training jumper in the 1990s that looked good. All green with white anchor and unfortunately Yakka written under the anchor. Lasted a few years on the track and was just the right shade.
Adelaid is pretty good but you don't need the extra navy bit at the bottom. I'd rather there was an extra navy stripe and then for it to be red below. So a predominantly red jumper. Then I'd like to see what it looks like with red and navy shorts.
Sydney ok. I've actually come on board with the all white jumper with red V. And all white at the back. When they wear it, its a real improvement and makes the jumper look crisp and highlights the red. I like it. Then Sydney need to consider wearing all red when their is a clash away. Red jumper with a white V. They can still build in a opera house or Harbour bridge into the design.
Have you thought of analysing footy jumpers by decade in the VFL/AFL. You could start in the 1900 to 1910 decade and then have a different video per week. Give you 12 videos. Maybe 10 years isn't quite long enough. Or you rank all the pioneer jumpers by each club in their first year of formation. Some will be 1880 and some 1995. That's interesting. Or group jumpers into pre 1900s, pre WW2, post WW2 to 1989 and 1990 to now
The Bulldogs jumper is too much like Melbourne's. Also it tradition has two horizontal stripes. I know it needs to be a different design. But if its red and blue on top then people say Fitzroy-Brisbane. Perhaps Fitzroy Footscray merger should have happened all along. In case you don't remember, the Bulldogs was the club really struggling at the time. Fitzroy was looking ok at that point but put up a merger possibility that was more like a take away. There is no way that Bulldogs could accept it, so merger didn't go ahead. Shocking judgement by Fitzroy, as it could have easily occurred if a sensible option for both parties.
I wonder if Melbourne will ever embrace their Demon tradition. In recent years on their logo and jumpers there is no mention of Demons and not a horn, fire, hellfires or devil in sight. Instead they've gone for the bland MFC and said they want to be known as the Melbourne CBD club. Maybe Demons is considered bad luck by potential new fans. But it hasn't hurt Man Utd being known as red devils (and that's a demon, far more aggressive a creature than a demon - and more offensive too). So can't see the flaming demon with an M for Melb. Smart design though.
Saints looks too much like a training jumper. They need a cross or vertical panels. My favourite jumper of theirs is all white at the back which makes the red and black on front look crisp.
I never liked the Eagles panel jumper. You don't get rid of wings on a jumper for no reason. The thought was that more people would wear a striped jumper in a long sleeve windcheater or shirt style and they would sell more merchandise. I like ochre or golden orange better. I'd like to see them wear golden orange with dark blue wings which they can wear with orange shorts or navy... even white shorts with orange jumper looks a lot better than white shorts with yellow jumper.
Geelong needs some form of hoop in design. But I can't stand the GFC logo. In fact I think only Carlton and Fitzroy look good with the letter emblem due to their tradition. Though a special mention to Sturt and Subiaco. I think highlightingh MFC for Melbourne is so silly in an era when brand and nicknames/logos are so important.
For me the Suns should always have a Sun, rather than a wave pattern. Wave isn't bad mind you. Never go for yellow and blue wave pattern as a wing looks like a lame wing on an Eagle.
Nah I don't like the Hawthorn hawk head jumpers. For me it just doesn't look good. Brown and yellow is a shocking colour combination. Theonly way it ever works is with stripes. I'd go for dark brown panels with thin yellow pin stripes away. Darker brown. I'd also consider a design that include a combination of darker brown and lighter brown panels.
Giants need to be grey and not black. Smart branding and promotion would get rid of GWS and embrace Western Sydney. You're trying to get new fans from the west to barrack for them, and then they call themselves GWS. Incredibly stupid.
I love the Lions away jumper. I had one as a kid and bought an adult size a couple of years ago. I think it's under rated
Richmond claws look pretty good. Though I'd like them to be more diagonal and actually resemble a sash a bit more.

Im dead against away jumpers unless its a colour reverse

We had a simpler solution. Home side wore black shorts, visiting team wore white. Problem solved.

The kids have been playing with computer graphics, again. Leave the guernseys alone.

ARROGANT COLLINGWOOD WILL NEVER HAVE A DIFFERENT GUERNSEY COZ THE LEAGUE ISBALL ABOUT THEM
