Wish it worked with hybrid. I get that hybrid is a stepping stone to full Entra joined but it would be a lot easier to make that leap if hybrid worked reliably.
Question, do you happen to know if this will work with a temporary access pass? I work for an MSP and I just want to know if I can set the user up before it gets delivered to them
I take it this cannot be used with pre provisioning? I don't see the pre provisioning setting. This would improve the stability of pre provisioning and also enable updates natively
You can continue to use the old/existing mechanisms (which I just call "APv1" for simplicity), but as of yet APv2 doesn't support pre-provisioning or self-deploying. Microsoft said that's coming in the future.
They said they are working on self-deploying and pre-provisioning. And that APv2 would never support Hybrid AADJ.

I do not see naming template while configuring APv2. what about device naming for APv2 ? Do we need to push CSP to change device name ?
It's "coming later" -- see oofhours.com/2024/06/11/setting-the-computer-name-with-apv2/.
@@michaelniehaus1052 Got it. Thank you.

It's pretty safe to say that they want to kill HAADJ.

I can't see any reason why it wouldn't.

unless this can be used along with the autopilot profile?
