I’m replacing the fan unit due to wields on the circ pump flanges failing and causing a leak ! Three hole total on the upper on lower flanges.
Have you seen that before ?

its the low water cut off in the boiler i have 66 of these and the low water cut off needs to be cleaned

We have the exact same Triangle Tube...knock on wood...We have had our unit for 13 years without any trouble at all...been an awesome unit

Our prestige triangle is a nightmare. Non stop issue. So many parts replaced but same issue exists. Plumber just keeps coming back over and over again and is baffled. There is not much left to replace. This is just after only 8 years. Would highly not recommend.

@@johnhenry9456 find a tech that specializes in high efficiency boilers make sure the installation is done right I find a lot of stuff wrong like cross-contamination of flu gas and air all the time.

had a triangle tube solo 110 installed in 2010, nothing but trouble ever since, 6 blower assembles, valves, ignitors, boards, leaks, no heat almost every month. complete junk

I have a triangle tube challenger cc125. tech (never seen this system b4) installed a new blower (original did fail). Problem now is banging when taking a shower (not constant seems after it has been out of use for a bit) Tech said air in system & advised me turn on all hot water faucets. That worked to some extent, however it still bangs. I believe the temperature pressure is too high. Can I use the pressure relief valve on top of boiler to relieve air?

They wasted money installing devices that the boiler already has. Also when you check a external low water cutoff (or any external set of contacts) you should check each side independently for power, not continuity. If power is on one wire and not the other, the contacts are open.

I owned 2 different triangle tube prestige excellence boilers. The first one would not stop breaking and setting error codes. The most unreliable thing I have ever owned. The second one that replaced the first was equally terrible. Got rid of them and hung a Navian ncb combi boiler and have not experienced a single issue. Triangle Tube should be sued out of business because the products are worse than words can explain.

Not a fan of Triangle Tube either but not sure it's really the manufacturer or simply that it's a HE boiler issue. The Prestige 399 we have had issues with is in a church as well. The first lasted 6 years before it rotted and had about every sensor, gadget replaced atleast once. It was installed using some existing radiators and convectors and no water treatment on the original unit. We now have water treatment but on our 1 year old unit we are now going off on high limit. We have 4 separate 399's in the school with all new piping and baseboard 100%. Those school units never had a problem. I've seen several videos of Naviens with bad heat exchangers so I'm not sure they are really better. I think if you have new construction or rip everything out and add water treatment you have a fighting chance but man can it be frustrating. Got to love it when you are the R&D team for a new product.
