You're so spot on! These wealthy guys always beating up on the poor and working class trying to eke out a living making it from paycheck to paycheck while the banks forge ahead bailout to bailout. Gold is great for the older crowd. It brings some stability and is bound to go up soon. When at or near retirement 100% BTC is too stressful for most people. If on the younger side with more volatility tolerance, 70-100% BTC is perfectly fine. Remember, volatility is NOT risk, but volatility can still give your poor boomer dad a heart attack!
Truth is 1-2% BTC is enough to hedge an entire retirement portfolio if purchased below $100k. That's all you *need* for basic protection. Can still do well in gold/commodities/real estate.
KITCO does such a great job. Both Male and Female hosts ask great questions, do not "softball" questions, are informed and prepared. Quality content in a compact timeframe. So appreciated. Wait,,, does that make KITCO News like Gold or Bitcoin, inherently valuable?!? Hmmm...

But keep in mind that there is a chance that crytpo prices could come tumbling down for a number of reasons. and that is why i recommend Gold and silver also in your porfolios as a possible insurance and safety net. Unusual to find someone who can advocate both sides of “sound money”…so clearly and calmly; As well as research and look to the alternatives. If you can’t keep paying your mortgage when food, medicine, utilities, etc. get too expensive to pay all of it, mortgage payments will be tempting to skip. Houses are the single most leveraged asset people buy. It does have value, but the price is no measure of that value and will adjust against other assets of value when interest rates rise.
Ive always wanted to own an oz of gold. Now that i can buy one, im not. Its shiny, pretty, but its like rolling a big rock uphill. Im taking my $1800 and grabbing more btc.

Silver is a industrial raw material. Industrial raw materials are not suitable for store of value or currency. Silver WAS used as currency in at least most parts of the world but back in those days it wasnt an industrial raw material. The world changed a lot in the last hundred years... :)

Gold, gold, gold... how many people really have gold, so real physical gold, not a piece of paper that says you have it. If all those IOU's in gold would be demanded in their physical form the real problems would surface.
I think he missed the part of the major upcoming technology disruption in various sectors, ie. automotive electrification, renewable energy, next-gen food production. It could actually disrupt the pace of inflation and instead cause deflation. The assets that value in the future may no longer be real estate.
Sounds like you regurgitated a Cathy Woods' interview. She's a Wall St. darling and this notion of disruption this, disruption that, changing our lives so much as to cause deflation after all the money printing is a ridiculous notion and just another beating of the drum by people who stand to lose the most when the whole thing comes tumbling down.
