Designing with Sealed Classes by Venkat Subramaniam

Object-Oriented programming has been around for a long time and it paradigm has been part of Java since its birth. Thus, it may be surprising to see that a new OO feature has emerged in Java. Sealed classes and sealed interfaces are a way to promote reuse while restricting unwanted extensibility.
