Our top story is the response of Netanyahu to the ultimatum of Benny Gantz that we reported last night. We also look at refuting two of the most often made claims against Israel, genocide and occupation, And then there's Lebanon, what to do? Smotrich has a plan.
Headline 1 Netanyahu slams minister after ultimatum
Gantz spelled out a six-point plan that includes the return of hostages, ending Hamas' rule, demilitarizing the Gaza Strip, and establishing an international administration of civilian affairs with American, European, Arab, and Palestinian cooperation.
Netanyahu, in a statement reported by Israeli media, responded by saying Gantz had chosen to issue an ultimatum to the prime minister instead of to Hamas and called his conditions "euphemisms" for Israel's defeat.
Gantz, a longtime political rival of Netanyahu, joined his coalition and the War Cabinet in the early days of the war in a gesture of national unity. His departure would leave Netanyahu even more beholden to far-right allies who take a hard line on negotiations over a ceasefire and hostage release, and who believe Israel should maintain control over Gaza and rebuild Jewish settlements there.
As we have mentioned, this type of infighting plays into the hands of Israel’s enemies. In addition, the U.S., and their European allies, would love to have Netanyahu removed from office with leftist Gantz in control.
The other member of the War Cabinet, Gallant, also publicly stated that Israel cannot have a role in governing Gaza after the war. This led some to call for his firing.
So basically, two of the three members are committing mutiny against the other, Netanyahu. We’ll see what happens. Israel’s continual search for peace continues…

Headline 2 Harley Lippman: Genocide & occupation? Israel must fight these distortions
Foreign policy expert Harley Lippman says that the two most common accusations against Israel are easily and objectively disproven - but Israel must begin presenting that to the world.
He mentions that the Saudis are on board because of the Abraham accords. They could help the public relations problem Israel faces.
However, it is not possible. The problem is spirit and supernatural. There is a hatred of Israel that is neither rational nor logical.
We do know that the Saudis and Gulf States will protest the Ezekiel 38,39 invasion. In other words, they will not be part of the coalition…

Yet, Israel will be without the help of any nation when this invasion occurs. However, we find out from Scripture there is someone who will help, namely, God Himself!
The final two headlines deal with Lebanon
Headline 3 After 7 months of war, Hezbollah's elite force still lurking on Israeli border
Headline 4 Smotrich suggests IDF enter Lebanon, establish security zone if Hezbollah continues firing
If Hezbollah would continue firing after such an ultimatum, Smotrich said the IDF should launch a defensive attack deep in Lebanese territory, including a ground entry.
This is what should be done. But will it happen? We must wait and see.
Summing Up
Adding to the headaches Israel already has, two of the three leaders of the War Cabinet are publicly rebelling against Netanyahu. We’ll see how this all turns out.
Sadly, the mantra that Israel is occupying Gaza and committing genocide is far from the truth but the world will keep saying it.
The huge problem of Lebanon also needs to be addressed.

Again, we emphasize that the Scripture informs us of the ultimate outcome, namely, the return of Christ to the earth.
However, before this happens there are some dark days ahead for the earth.
Jesus has warned us about these things so that we do not faint or lose our faith…
