Crazy how you went from pull type to S series combines in a decade or so. Congrats on all the blessings and success.
Those cats following you were distracting me the whole time lol
YOU GUYS MUST HAVE ONE HELL OF A BANKER
We definitely have one hahaha...
Lol right lol
I thought the same thing…A LOT of New Stuff Bought & Built within the last Few Years. I wouldn’t be Surprised if a Decent Amount of it is Leased Equipment.
Growing a little something more than corn
@@taylor11089most equipment these days are leased lol
The family has been blessed to grow and do well!!! Great job.
Yes! Thank you!
For anybody ever wondering the answer is yes. Lol. Farmers and I mean large acre farmers are rich. Yes they’ve worked their lives away to get there and no it’s not easy with long hours, big risks, and wild weather but none the less yeah they’re loaded. You’re looking at a multi million dollar operation and you don’t get that back rolling Pennie’s.
Awesome equipment lineup! It’s awesome how quick your guys farm has grown!
Looks like someone won a lottery. No way in hell a smaller farm with old equipment, grows this fast, with so much new equipment. With in 5 years you go from old combines, no grain cart, to everything now. It doesn't make sense, unless there was a lottery winner, a huge investor, or a big life insurance policy. No hate, just think of you're going to make a video like this, than you should explain exactly how you managed to grow so fast. I'm glad life is good, we need more farmers. Just a little honesty goes a long way
Just a lot of boys that are willing to work very hard no lottery or nothing like that. But we are very greatful. I would say it's more of a 15 year growth span. Thank you support.
That’s what I’m sayin. My first thought was lottery. Hard to go from a 9510 to 3 790’s in 5 years?!?! 🤔🤔 we farm several thousand acres so I have an idea of how things work. Great for them just seems odd.
@mattmiller8315 it was 15 years of growth it was switching from cattle ranching to grain farming. For a while we did both! Nothing happened over night...
I'd just love to know what banker loans that kind of money in that time span.
Jesus man!!!!!!!
I'm 63 years old and have been farming since 1978. And we have been blessed to produce some bumper crops even in less than ideal times.
But I've never been able to find a banker willing to front the kind of money for that type of equipment plus financing production costs.
Thanks for the tour. You guys have an amazing fleet! Living the dream getting to play with all that equipment everyday!!
Thanks for watching!
I love how your bobcats followed you through the whole video
Good job on explaining things makes sense now. I would recommend getting a couple of snow pushers that can go on the buckets of loaders and skid steers. They are very handy you can move alot of snow quick.
Thank you
Great tour, thank the cats for taking part as well. I'm new to the channel so would like to see your grain bin storage area. Thanks for the tour and some history too.
We don't have much bin storage
@@fettigfamilyfarms Ok, cool. Thx
Thanks that was a great video to see. There's a lot of work in all that kit and you have a great family too keep it up thanks
Glad you enjoyed it
Is that one named Frank after me lol
If you want good rock picking equipment look at Schulte. The stuff is awesome. Heavy duty. The Spartan RWP 1935 is great or get a windrower and big picker. You won't be disappointed. Their products handle our rock with few issues
Yes see I would love to but there aren't a lot of videos out there on them to justify trying one
The truck dealer must of have you guys a heck of a deal😅
They must farm a hell ofa lot of a acres to have all that new equipment pluse 3 brand new trucks and all the earth moveing stuff
Deere does make an awesome sprayer now. I have a 4940 but would love to upgrade to a R4045.
omg its knight and eclipse 😱😱😱😱😱😱😱you handsome fellas. this is your second daily reminder to be active on clash of clans 🎃
Or not
Bankers wiil sure have a nice auction.
Surely will.
Great job on the video and explaining some of the History
Glad you enjoyed it
Awesome job. Love John deere
Thanks 👍
LOL, you have a catdog like Zach!!! hahahaha!!!!
Not sure what that means but yes
@@fettigfamilyfarms Millennial Farmer
Love the amount of vehicles
Me too
It’s just so great you always have enough vehicles
We’re a farm in norther co. And I can’t agree more that there is not such thing as to many vehicles
One hell of an operation you guys got going on there. I would definitely like to join the operation, get the hell outta Washington state!! Good video also, always have lots of knowledge.
Thanks for the tour love it
Glad you enjoyed it
You guys are lucky able to play with toys and get paid for it, what more could you ask for.
Yup I love my job
Great line up
A very unassuming family. I greatly enjoy your videos.
Not sure what that means but thank you?
I looked it up thank you
Thanks for the tour!
You bet!
I love it man
Wow, you take good care of your equipment 🙂
It all looks shiny and brand new.
Do you wash your tractors and combines and other equipment after every use each day?
No but everything was cleaned right before the rush...
@fettigfamilyfarms doesn't that cause COVID to be transmitted
that cat likes to fallow you
Thanks for watching
Hell ya bro thank u for this video
Your welcome
ELHO scorpio, we run 6 of them. Quite the rock pickers
Could you email my business email in the description I'd like to talk to you about them..
@@fettigfamilyfarms sure thing chief
@@fettigfamilyfarms i mailed you
The j.d dealer is definitely smiling when he sees them guys pull up in the lot.
When an experienced man meets a guy with money and no experience...its usually the guy with the experience that leaves with the money, and the guy who had the money will be left with an experience..😢
great 👍
Did you guys win the lottery. Soo much brand new equipment, trucks. Excavation equipment. Wtf?
I’ve been in the farming game for awhile and curious as to how there’s something going on to be Willy nilly growing like that and to have half a dealership for no reason
HA lol first person to fart in a combine ROFLMAO !!!
Any X9s coming to the farm soon ? Great looking machines.
Hoping for a demo soon
With a 60 foot Honeybee header or that 62 foot monster Brazilian head@@fettigfamilyfarms
Is your db60 planter the same model as "A trippyfarmer" has. His carriage frame is bent from the time it left the factory. Greetings from Dundalk in Ireland...
Not sure
@@fettigfamilyfarmshopefully not. 1 year warranty.
Have you guys ever thought about getting a 9RX 830?
Yea
We call the 9RX 4 track
So how many acres did u grow to to be able to get that much equipment that quick
That’s what I’m saying. To go from pull type combines to three new 790s in less than 15 years is nuts
@@joelkenney5500 yeah u would have to pick up 15,000 acres really quick
Not willing to share specific acres. But we were a pretty large cattle ranch before that just did crops in order to feed our cattle. We pretty much just made the switch, got rid of the cattle and turned all of our pasture and hay into farmable land. Hence all the rock picking videos
@@fettigfamilyfarms makes sense. Nice operation
@easternshorefarmer How much of it do you think is Leased Equipment? I’m going to guess a fair amount of it is.
How many acers do you farm?
1400
Are you close to Velva or Grand Forks N.D.
No that's a long ways north
those are quad tracks
I agree
When did you guys start growing corn and beans?
2009 and 2013 ish
How many acers do y'all do?
That’s a question you never ask a farmer. That’s like asking a business man how much money he has.
Yes sir lol
@@Bar_S_Farmsehh around us in manitoba no one cares, that just seems like some dumb American thing
@@Bar_S_Farmsfor example, we have a small operation since we only have 4000ac, but we get decent yields, 90bu wheat, 60bu canola, 60bu beans
@@etrain757dang that some good wheat very rarely can we do that...
Hello, is there an opportunity for training on your beautiful farm? I am from Morocco and ready to relocate
Sorry, no
how old is mason
He is 15
God dam you guys better hope we dont go into a recession or have something extreme happen to your crops
That excavator needs a hydraulic thumb
We thought about it but we haven't really needed one a hole lot and it's extra weight when digging
😠 Promo*SM
No way on gods green earth did you go from 3 pullbines in 09, to 3 790s in the space of 14 years.. jesus man, how do you pay for these things? You must have atleast trippled your acreage
Wayyyy more than tripled we only farmed about 400 acres back then
And back then we had a lot of cattle most of the crops were just to feed the livestalk we decided to sell all the cattle in 2013 and pushed more toward farming braking up all the hay ground and such
