Whenever I see your videos I wish I can play them along with you, means following you step by step. Bt unfortunately I don't have an Ukulele yet. Sayali you are an excellent teacher with lots of patience and amazing attitude, I have recently started to learn the ukele and your tutorials are extremely helpful
A few people are wondering what's the need for Am chord in finger picking, so just posting this here -
You should still hold down the Am chord even tho you are not plucking that 4th string.
It's a good habit to develop. So that you remember the proper chord progression for the song, and then you can use any strumming pattern to play it once you've memorized the chords.
It also helps you improve your chord switching and helps with muscle memory.

What is the reason for holding Am in 3231 finger picking
Hey, I'm a beginner too, and as far as I understand, it's because the fingers fit properly and it's a comfortable position to play in. That's the reason according to me. Hope this helps.✨
Even if you play the wrong string, it won't sound that bad
I was thinking the same. But maybe because there are people who'll choose strumming pattern and not finger picking pattern so maybe that's why

The picking pattern is non sense...i also commented on similar lines. Even the F chord doesn't make sense
