- This is the sixth episode in a series of what I'm calling the "3rd Time" lockers because this is the third time that these particular units had come up for auction. On the earlier 2 auctions, the owner came to the auction and paid the amount due, so the sale was cancelled. Why? We had to find out.
In this episode we uncover more awesome vintage items, but things get really exciting when I find a box marked "Master Bedroom Dresser", and inside there's a jewelry box. We think the items belong to the prior tenant's deceased grandmother.

I know itz a business but we are all human, and you remember that. A lot of costume jewelry has designer names on their tiny tags. Joan Rivers jewelry sells for more than you’d think. Great job!

@20:43 when you showed the silver and enamel pin for the second time; the silvery embeds you said you were not sure about are referred to as "marcasite" but are actually pyrite. Pyrite is more stable. IF the pyrite is set, you have a really nice piece of costume jewelry.
I wouldn't have the heart to sell most of the stuff you found here. 😸 The greedy me would have kept the comics and jewellery for myself 😁

You may know this, but you should always look closely at all costume jewelry. If it is marked Sarah Coventry, it is very collectable and should probably be sold on eBay to get the larger audience of collectors.
Wow, junky, junky, junky? Better do some research. Some costume jewelry brings big bucks, especially if it's vintage. Put on eBay. The bidding goes high most times on these items. You can also sell them to Crafters who are looking for vintage beads, crystals and components. Put some in a bag and sell as a lot.
Loving this unit , your killing it. Did you sell that Amber glass lamp ? Pricy on eBay.
5:20, that is a CALABASH pipe made by Peterson. Usually, the metal band is cheap metal EXCEPT on a Peterson (usually Silver) Those go for real good money.

Joan was a lot of things. Cheap wasn't among them. Some of hers goes for more than a comparable piece of sterling.

That unit is more than one man can handle. You will be a tired man after that. Where are your buddies? Love your approach...only problem is the camera needs to be stationary on some parts. Still enjoy your honest approach.
11:00 could be ivory figurine.12:30 looks like Taos Pueblos Turquoise beads and some hammered silver pieces, worth getting looked into, 13:00 look like 1940s paste beads, 15:07 Hopi Turquoise and silver bolo, also there are Turquoise and RED Turquoise beaded items. They are older and should be looked into. 15:20 is that a bakelite ring? Grammar had green one like that.
I’ve learned having a strong magnet helps “kinda” figure out the gold and silver. And Canadian coins are magnetic. You probably already know this though lol

Costume jewelry is a big thing. I’m new to your channel and just subscribed. How much does a lot like this cost? Many people have commented on the camera work, how much it moves around, it is a little better with some one else holding the camera. It must be hard to look through boxes while holding a camera. But I’m sure with practice it will get better and I’m willing to hang in there because I really enjoy your channel. Maybe move the camera a little slower. Love all the goodies you have found and hope you make lots of money! You deserve it for all your hard work.

the reason the tips on that ring are a different color is because jewelers plate the area by the diamond with a metal called rhodium so the yellow reflection of the gold doesn't make the diamond look yellow and dull

Yes I do. I would suggest to go to a few auctions first, just to observe. If you want to buy, then great, but you can learn a lot by watching the other bidders, and seeing how much units sell for. If you're not comfortable with the live auctions, you can also start by buying one online from an online auction house, such as storagetreasures.com. I also suggest starting with a small unit to begin with... they are more work than it seems! Also, make sure to photograph and/or video that first one, when you pull the trigger. It's a thrilling experience and you'll want to capture the event to remember it! Enjoy!!!

Before you cash in those pennies or anything double-check and make sure there's no Indian heads or wheat pennies because some of them are very valuable.

Park Lane is still in business. It is hard to find stuff on Google about the vintage pieces but they are collectible.

I being honest now, you are my new favourite storage auction buyer. It used to be Steven and Amber (Treasure hunting with Jebus), but their videos of late have been piss poor, they seem to be more concerned of why people are in prison who owned the locker than finding the owners treasure....Then second was "What The Hales", but their video's of late are other peoples storage lockers.....Jeremy is a smart man. making video's off of other peoples money. @@bettydount Betty, i know George isn't stupid it's just the way Jeremy makes out that George find swords, because she bid on the locker, when it's Jeremy telling her to bid on the locker and what to bid up to in most cases, you see that in yesterdays video they put out. The other guy almost won the locker at $300 because George stopped bidding, Jeremy had to tell her to keep bidding, then he told her to stop at $700. I get it....it's new to her, she don't know what to bid and when to stop, but Jeremy just goes way over the top if she wins.....It's silly things that annoy me, it's maybe petty.
