- What makes a 10-series a ten? A mower that mows more hay in less time, with convenient features that reduce the stress of operating, transporting and mowing with a large trailed mower.

When I get out of school I’m only 14 but when I become a farmer and have cattle I’m going to strongly recommend Vermeer I love your equipment it’s built to last and to be tough I’m so glad that you guys made equipment
@Taylor James thanks
I completely disagree bud. I’ve got a mc1030 and I’ve never had a mower fall apart like this thing. I’ll never buy another Vermeer product again. If you take time and look at other colors you’ll see the difference is pretty obvious. I was young and dumb once too
Swath width (as a % of cutterbar width) is the single most important factor in hay or haylage drydown -- far more important than conditioning. Historically, most conditioners impede drydown by limiting swath width and lumping/clumping the cut hay; which is to say, many conditioners are being used in a counter-productive manner. I applaud Vermeer for building a disc-machine that mimicks the old "gold standard" sicklebar: cut it, drop it wide with leaves up/stems down, and let the plants dry down biologically, via photosynthesis. Conditioners have a place, but only if they're used properly -- and any mower-conditioner that can't swath at least 80% of cutterbar width is pretty much pointless.
No conditioner ? I'd love a demo
