Kathryn Halbritter - First In My Nation

Kathryn Halbritter, class of 2024, will be the first woman from the Oneida Nation to graduate from medical school, a fact that she considers “A huge honor.” The Oneida Nation is one of six nations that form the Haudenosaunee People, more commonly known as the Iroquois. Kathryn wishes to use her medical training to give back to her people, and to keep the traditions and memories of the Haudenosaunee alive for future generations.
