Which case would you recommend for my cheaper solid purple bass uke as you demoed previously. As you know the tuners make it not fit usual baritone uke case? Love your videos, they are so useful and the playalongs are a saver during the lockdowns

Hi Malcolm, sorry for my late reply, just catching up with comments. The cheaper solid bass definitelt fits in the Kala Sonoma Baritone case and that is actually cheaper than the "official" u-bass case. Really, I'd love to find a nice, light (so poss carbon fibre) shaped case that would actually fit the solid basses. Let me know how you get on.

Can you review the cordoba Deluxe ukelele gig bag & the Road Runner’s Avenue Series RR1SUKE Soprano Padded Gig Bag.
I'm having trouble choosing between the two.

There isn't much choice that I'm aware of. Kala make a hard case whish is out of stock at the moment but you can also pick them up around the internet, I'll drop an Amazon link below too.

Not sure if it's TSA approved. I did a bit of research when looking for one of my basses recently but could find anything really suitable for my needs.

Thanks Rachel. I personally dislike soft gig-bags as they don't offer much protection. I tend to buy hard cases, or even better if the uke comes in one - Tanglewood ukes are a prime example, I own two, a tenor and a baritone Tanglewood. These are like your ugly soprano hard case with no strap hooks, however, attaching a couple of hooks on these is really easy, a matter of minutes and a few dollars. Then you have the protection and utility.

I do agree completely about better to use hard cases. I think my dream at the moment is a good carbon fibre shaped case for the basses, one day................. Yes, I know I could add strap hooks, I just despair that they are not added as standard! LOL I feel my destiny is designing cases (only joking)

What case would fit my Mitchell mu40?

Hi, I've done a quick search and it seems to be a soprano ukulele so really any soprano or 21" case shoould fit. I would always recommend at least a 10mm or even better 15mm or 20mm padding on the case if possible. Lots available on Ebay and Amazon as well as the uke shops. My personal favoutites are the crossrock cases.
