Oh really? That’s so interesting! I wonder if they used herbal cigarettes. They tend to use those in film and tv instead of the real ones. But, this was the 90s so who knows!

I don't think Lent has anything to do with health. There's nothing healthy about kneeling. It seems more about denying yourself something you enjoy, so the church could keep track of who is still under the spell, and who might be starting to think for themselves.

Lent is the Christian preparation for Easter and is about self-denial, as well as the more traditional fasting. As such, self-denial includes anything one normally enjoys as it depicts self sacrifice
