I was so happy! I wanted to cry. I nearly did! I was surprised that Luke Skywalker returned. I knew there were rumours that Luke Skywalker would make an appearance in The Mandalorian, but I wasn't expecting it! Seeing Din Djarin say goodbye to Grogu really got me. I wanted to cry. It was so touching! This is so much better than the Sequel Trilogy!
I was expecting ezra Bridger to be the jedi grogu contacted but when Luke arrived I was so excited. The whole scene was so well done and awesome, even though the cgi could have been better, that I was glad that Luke appeared instead. Seeing Gideons face turn to fear and watching everyone else in stunned silence was awesome.
Man...every time I think "they won't go there, that's too much too soon" ...but man...they go there and not only do they go there....they execute perfectly and in style ... absolutely blown away at what I just saw and I'm not even a Star Wars guys like that
Also the female representation was done so well in this episode and just in this show in general ...the women don't feel like sidekicks or side characters ...it really feels like a team where everyone is equally bad azzed ... I loved seeing a bunch of women kicking azz and not even having it stuffed down my throat that it was women. That what representation is all about ...be shown without the pandering...awesome awesome episode and show

I know I'm shooting too far but does this mean we may get a possible Luke and Ahsoka meeting some day? Even though Luke and Thrawn met in Legends.
This one scene with luke in my opinion was the best proof throughout the entire star wars series that shows how much a full trained jedi just outclass everyone, luke made it look so easy, like what would star wars be if order 66 never happened

Yes unfortunately. It seemed like mandos story came to a close in this episode, for now at least. I could see mando showing up and battling Bo Katan and her show but for the most part i think were done with Din and Boba is taking over. The only real way this makes sense is if at the end mandos story that he and Grogu are hiding in the galaxy together or Grogu exiled himself after mando dies like yoda did after order 66. It makes no sense for luke not to mention him in the new movies unless he himself isnt aware what happend to him

I think from the after the credits teaser that the mandalorian season 3 is the book of Boba Fett, since that was not announced at the Disney investor meeting but all those other shows were. I think aside from a few plot threads like Bo Katan needing to win the darksaber back in combat from Mando that his story arc is over.
