    Hi we were on the same cruise.
    It was a lot of fun especially the music in the various bars at night.
    Funny, our favorite restaurant was Dragon lady just love the garlic rice.
    Nice comprehensive tour of the ship.

    extremely helpful, thinking of going on a cruise but it seems so overwhelming, trying to find everything. You have made it manageable , thanks , i am looking at booking a balcony room would you recommend anywhere specific on the ship, etc middle or other area. And can you please clarify, the restaurants you mentioned as complementary , you don't pay more for. please reply

      Yes if you can get a room close to the middle of the boat is better for less movement as it sails. Also in the middle height wise can be better for noise (not too close to heavy traffic areas of the boat) we actually tried to get a room near the middle but then we got moved closer to the rear of the boat and it wasn’t much difference. Most restaurants are complimentary, they do sometimes have a couple of items on the menu which cost extra but you can certainly eat for free every meal if you want. There’s two sit down dining restaurants that aren’t included and the takeaway food and ice cream by the pool costs and the cafes cost. Drinks mostly cost but there’s free water tea and instant coffee at the restaurants. Hope that helps.

    Which deck is the best if we can select room. we are going to select interior room.Great video

      Some people recommend a middle deck to avoid any possible noises from areas above or below. We were on deck 9 and didn’t have any issues. Some people like to get a room close to areas of the ship that they go frequently but I didn’t find it inconvenient to get around. If there’s any chance you might get sea sickness then a room in the middle of the ship will have less motion than near the front or rear of the ship.

    Few questions what shows were shown on the show as in stage shows? Also with kids 16 and 12 is there much to do on the ship as there just seems to be a lot of eating and drinking places?

    • @nigel_w
      @nigel_w  ปีที่แล้ว

      We don’t have kids but there is several areas that are dedicated for families and children. The indoor pools are a family area and have table tennis and foosball tables in that area. There’s also an arcade near the main atrium. Appart from the casino and adults only shows children can go anywhere on the ship. There’s also good child care which is divided into three age groups. I’ll be going into more detail about shows in an upcoming video, the two theatres had different shows most nights and all but one were included in your fare.

    Going on the same cruise next month. Did you buy a drinks package ? Seem pricey and wondered how many do it

    • @nigel_w
      @nigel_w  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      We don’t drink enough to justify the drinks package but we decided to get the non alcoholic package instead. It really depends how much you are likely to drink. Ciders and beer is around $9-9.50 on the boat if that helps you decide.

    We will be doing the same/similar itinerary in a couple months. Did you need local currencies in the ports or were you ok to just use bank cards for purchases?

    • @nigel_w
      @nigel_w  ปีที่แล้ว

      It is a good idea to carry some cash for the markets which don’t take cards but Australian dollars are accepted and be withdrawn from the ATM on the boat.

    Hows the internet on the ship if you got the package?

    • @nigel_w
      @nigel_w  ปีที่แล้ว

      P&O has three levels of internet packs, at certain times they can get a little slow but most of the time it wasn’t a problem. If you’re going to use it I’d recommend upgrading to the better internet.

    Hi do you pay to watch the shows. Thanks

      There’s only one show which wasn’t included and it was only $20 for a ticket
