    Awesome video on the original install and adding the 2 side cameras. We are looking into buying one the same set up. Great for security and backing up. Thank You for all that you do for the RV community.

      Thank you for watching our videos Rhonda ❤️ We still love our Haloview & have had them since last May! I (Martha) love that there’s a speaker out the back camera you can turn on to listen, so if I’m guiding Chris back then he can hear me, or hear others. The night time mode works great, you see things in color. Have a wonderful day 🤗

    Excellent review. Very clear and helpful.The BT7 should be the best wireless observation camera on the market so far. I will seriously consider investing in one.

    Always use a multi meter to verify polarity. Saves a lot of time and fried electronics.

    Thanks! I have marker lights on the front and back of the TT. If you want to check to ensure you have room to change lanes.... would you mount at the front or back.... I see you mounted at the front of your rig. cheers! thanks again

      Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. We placed the cameras where the side marker lights for the trailer came from the factory. That would be my recommendation, place it in the same place as the side markers on your Travel Trailer. You will still have full visibility down the side of your trailer with that location.

    Looking good. For your 4th camera, consider installing it on the pinbox. I've done this on a couple of 5th wheels and will soon be doing it on my 340RL. I adapt the mount to a magnetic base (Harbor Freight) and place it on the top of the pinbox.

    • @VenturesomeCouple
      @VenturesomeCouple  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jim, that is a fantastic idea! Do you tap into the power on the brake disconnect?

    • @jbeletti
      @jbeletti 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VenturesomeCouple I am running IP cameras and POE, so no other power needed. For you, I suggest you tap into the 7-wire junction box at the back of the pinbox. With a volt meter, you should find your RV battery + / -. Note, you may have already disconnected the 12v+ charge line from the truck in that box. If so, that post will still have the DC + wire from your coach. Call me to chat if you want.

    How do you change the monitor screen arrangement. My rear camera is the bottom multiscreen and I want on the top. Thanks

    How is it at night? The footage clear enough to provide a good safe view for changing lanes?

    I’m wondering about the 4th camera. I don’t think I want to put up a door camera- but I would love to put that as a forward facing dash cam. Thoughts on that?

    • @VenturesomeCouple
      @VenturesomeCouple  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Lynn, thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel. It would work as a dash cam if you hard wired it to your vehicle. My only concern would be how it would handle the temperature of the front windshield. Outside of the heat, the picture quality is great and it does record to the monitor like a DVR when you turn it on. You could likely adapt the 12v wires to use the cigarette lighter style plug for ease of use.

      @@VenturesomeCouple awesome. The only other question would be about the microphone. Can you turn this off? Otherwise there might be feedback.

    I'm going to be selling my furrion 3 camera system, because the latency and lag is just terrible on the furrion system, and getting this Haloview BT7 4 camera system instead.
    I'm actually considering installing both cameras on the back of the camper because the cameras don't have a very high vertical field of view so you can't see your bumper and straight back behind the camper. So I'm going to have one pointed down so I can see the bumper and the other one pointing straight back so I can see far behind the camper.

    • @VenturesomeCouple
      @VenturesomeCouple  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hey Jeff, that is a brilliant idea! I will have to look at doing the same thing. You are correct you either have a great view of your e-bikes (Our case) or the road behind you. I didn’t want to drill into the wall and install over the door because we have a ring camera. Thank you for watching our video and supporting our channel.
