I've listened to him a lot over the years, but compared to his early work up to the Hoka album, what he's doing now isn't as creative. I don't think he's as inspired as he used to be. In fact, he's not getting any more views on TH-cam, and his music isn't attracting as many people because it's not as captivating as it used to be. I'll always enjoy listening to his first 3 albums with Medicine for the people :-)

He was a pro at using metaphor to express painful relationship themes, as in "we are on time" or "tus pies. Here we have lyrics that any artist could write, often for the chorus he simply repeats the words "energy, energy, energy", "ok, ok ok". I find this poor compared to the beauty of what he offered before. It's the same with the melodies, which aren't very catchy any more. Anyway, as long as you like it, I'm happy for you, but don't tell me he's as talented as he used to be, because he's not. He's only selling a fraction of the number of albums he used to.

Your additional opinion is that he is not getting any further views on TH-cam because again, in your opinion, he isn't "as captivating as he used to be". Are you dropping by nightly and tallying his view numbers across all of his TH-cam videos and channels and then cross-referencing them to the numbers that you tallied the night prior to see if they've lessened any or remained the same? Because I feel like that would be the only way to achieve such a task in order to make such a statement.
