I've only finished the first 3 chapters so far, but the literary references are my least favourite part of the storytelling so far. Especially in the third chapter, it just feels like a crutch and an excuse to not write an original story, instead just retelling existing stuff and calling it a day. Tbh i wouldnt mind if they never add in eng or jp dub cuz for once there is a gacha game with PHENOMENAL VOICE ACTING in Korean. Like most gacha games have jp/cn dub and eng dub but i have never experienced such phenomenal voice acting for Korean dub in any game. The voice acting in LoR and Limbus Company puts some of the japanese voice acting ive heard in gacha games' to shame. Personally i dont think any other dub would be able to achieve the same quality of voice acting as the korean vas, i could hear Sinclair's va grinding his teeth out of fear and frustration for a moment in one scene (i don't think I've ever heard any character express their frustration in this way before) and tht just left me awestruck with how amazing the voice acting is. Also there are SO MANY PUNS, especially with Yi Sang's name and it would be less funny in any other language since it only works in the first place cuz "Yi Sang" has alot of meanings in Korean. If they do add in another language dub it would definitely be hard to top the korean vas work.
They most likely don't have the money or the # of game downloads high enough to warrant a English voice dub Even genshin impact only has 3-4 voiced languages English, Japanese, Mandarin, and Korean
@@xblade11230 but i was just talking abt why imo any other language dub wouldn't work for limbus company regardless of whether pm has the money to hire other language vas. Pm stated tht the director is personally involved in casting the vas and chooses the vas who suits the characters the most, and if other language vas were to be involved it would be hard to do tht. I'd rather have these phenomenal voice actors voicing these characters in Korean rather than hearing any other language va do a half assed job at portraying the characters. Also alot of games which have voice acting in multiple languages tend to have jokes and other honorifics and stuff lost in translation. All the Korean puns in Limbus Company and LoR would end up losing meaning when translated to english. So even if pm had the money i'd hope they would just stick with the Korean dub instead of trying to rope in other language dubs.
As a huge PM fan who has been playing Limbus since launch I have to say that you gave me one of the most important gifts possible with this video: YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON ON TH-cam WHO PRONOUNCES BOUGH CORRECTLY!!!! Every other content creator in this fandom says it like "bo" and it makes me want to scream. Thank you.
To be honest I recorded that line saying bough as "bow and arrow" but I listened to it and something just felt off so I searched google and told me that the correct pronunciation was bough as in "bow to the audience" so thank the stars I didn't make a fool of myself
Not a huge fan of gatcha's, but I am a huge fan of Project Moon games. So, I tried Limbus company and was pleasantly surprised. Most gatcha are exactly that, gatcha. Limbus company however, I've bought just the two seasons battle passes. So under $30 in two seasons (about half a year) and I have all the wifu's. I enjoy the game play, I don't feel like I'm being tricked every time I play, pull rates are extremely fair, they give you free premium currency all the time, and you can literally grind out all the wifu's.
...yeah but half the battles can now be completed by my mother who have never played a single videogame before by pressing a single button numerous times.
Lawl. While this is true for every single gatcha game and certainly was for Limbus Company outside of specific events, it is no longer true with the release of Mirror Dungeon 2. The game is pretty much still in early access as lots of teh actual game play features are still missing. Sucks to be kept waiting, but I'm very pleased with MD2 Hard, and has me even more excited for Railway Line 2. Something your mom is not gonna be beating any time soon.
It's almost like PM didn't want to make it a Gacha but execs said to do it anyway, so they're just throwing rewards all the time at F2P players. "Sorry we made a typo in the japanese patch notes, here's 1000 lunacy for everyone" lmao Might be harder to catch up now, but you don't need everything either and as you said, you can always grind what you want - even if the rate is lower without weekly bonuses.
Danteh, go to the mines, Danteh. Uptie and Threadspin 4 are coming Thursday, Danteh. Jokes aside, it's VERY F2P friendly. Me waiting until Wednsday to continue with Canto 4 is only because I want Rosedia to continue steamrolling that Canto. And to try to make Base Heat's S1 a bit more reliable. And to get UPTIE 4 BODYSACK, BEST EGO IN THE GAME ! *FIGHT ME !*
I never thought I'd ever find a game that caters so hard to classic literature buffs like myself. I love it and how they reinterpreted all these characters, special props goes to Heathcliff and Don Quixote since I love the former's more kind and weirdly noble characterization while still having his iconic spiteful and angry attitude, and the latter's more meek and world-weary depiction while still having her inspiration's crippling levels of idealism. However, I respectfully disagree with your take on Outis. I think she's great and adore her constant roasting of the other Sinners.
I've heard a little about Project Moon's games before but didn't have any reason to check any of them. Thanks to your review I checked LC yesterday and completed first chapter. I love how they explained some mechanics through story and whole ID system which allows you to focus lore-wise on main cast and give you many combat options instead of giving a shitton of character, which you'll forget after the next one appears. I'm thankful
Heavily underrated. Couldn't believe that the clip only had 350 views after having an experience similar to early max0r. Really neat review, loved it ^^
god i love how solid this review is, particularly in the gameplay overview section. not drawn out, dense with relevant information, but oddly enough is the most, and i mean THE MOST understandable out of all the dedicated tutorials i've seen trying to explain the mechanics in-game. had i not put in hundreds of hours already i would download limbus this instant because of this video lol. i could go on and on about what i love about this video, game, and developer but imma just sub for now :D an absolute 10/10 from me.
Limbus Company is the only game where I buy the battle pass not to turn shitty F2P rewards into decent stuff, but because I want to support an amazing game (and get tons *more* of really cool things like EGOs and announcers). Seriously, 4 months long, easy to grind, tons of rewards? Yes please! $30-40 a year to keep the pass up? Aye, I'd pay that for a game this good, take my monies PM.
i think its funny that i found limbus company through, who'd have guessed, my discord soundboard. i thought don quixote saying "limbus company" was so funny that i looked it up, played the game, became obsessed, and then purchased library of ruina, which i am currently almost done with i seriously love these games even when id get EXTREMELY ANGRY i still couldnt quit the game i kept beating my head against it and yet it never made me feel bad i was so happy to try, try, and try again to get over every damn hurdle i love these games man, all of em.

I had my interest with reading a lot of story writing on games lately and this.. this video caught me watching all the way to the end, I seriously need to get all project moon games at this point, I just genuinely enjoy the story that's being writen on EVERY single characters, world building and even just the tiniest bits of tale it gave, worth my time. Thank you for this wonderful video dude, the editing was phenomenal!
If you enjoyed this song (between two worlds.) Might I suggest Mili? The vocalist Cassie Wei and her band have done many tracks for Project Moon games, almost all of her songs are heavily related to the plot of the games but they can also be enjoyed on their own. She reached out to PM first and wanted to do songs for their games because she was already a fan of their first title Lobotomy Corporation, so her songs are filled with passion and love for these properties. she's also known for doing Goblin slayer's op and a few other anime songs. Her style is incredibly unique, she can juggle tons of genres and each song is almost always a guaranteed banger.
If you really want an f2p story game, I would also recommend another eden. The game basically does everything in episodes, so every thing actually has an ending. Instead of extending a story forever, you actually get closure. You want to know why your character's mystery backstory? That gets solved. Turns out you are a cat silly. Want to end the beast man and human war? It happens. Wanna understand how you came across a cursed sword? You did it in a different timeline. Why did the timeline suddenly change after you solve all those issues? Time godess did it! Why is that girl have a flower for an eye? It is magic and she wrote a book that makes anything written in it happen. Now it is being sold to the highest bidder in a seedy underworld auction. You better get an invite and get the book before the cultists do. Why is that girl trapped in an infinite timeloop without any memories? I don't know but you get multiple 5* characters and a ton of gacha currency if you do that storyline.
Really great video, the editing was on point my guy. I hope many people get the chance to see this video so they too will want to experience Limbus Company and maybe even Lobotomy and Ruina at some point.

What I love about Limbus as a gacha game is how fucking disinterested it is in my money (despite early whaling). For 4 banners, I have gotten all the 000s and EGOs from raw grinding. Its fucking wild how easy it actually is to farm for 000s and EGOS and they keep making it easier to grind! The only thing I pay is for the BP cause in terms of investments, the paid BP essentially guarantee the whole ass season and its content so long as I do the mirror dungeon everyday and do the newly added Hardmode dungeon. Oh and the BP gives useful stuff, both the free and paid (unlike Genshin and Star Rail's) with MULTIPLE EGOs and boxes which lets you buy MORE IDs and EGOs (especially the post lvl 50 grind). They really are treating it like a higu budget live service game more than other gacha games and they respect the player's investment much harder. Unlike SOME (looking at you fgo and hoyoverse).
I look at trailer, thinks is cool, see the gameplay, too many numbers, brain hurts, notice it is a gatcha game, brain hurts more, close steam......

That was one of the most genuine scream I ever heard in gacha game 💀
So even if pm had the money i'd hope they would just stick with the Korean dub instead of trying to rope in other language dubs.
they cant, theyre getting money to open up their own themepark

“Not a tutorial” gives a tutorial better than the in game one
As a huge PM fan who has been playing Limbus since launch I have to say that you gave me one of the most important gifts possible with this video:
YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON ON TH-cam WHO PRONOUNCES BOUGH CORRECTLY!!!!
@@Aleksandr_Tararin this is why we have hard mirror dungeon and seasonly the abomination of difficulty known as refraction railway
It's almost like PM didn't want to make it a Gacha but execs said to do it anyway, so they're just throwing rewards all the time at F2P players. "Sorry we made a typo in the japanese patch notes, here's 1000 lunacy for everyone" lmao
Might be harder to catch up now, but you don't need everything either and as you said, you can always grind what you want - even if the rate is lower without weekly bonuses.
MY GOT, WHAT WAS THIS QUALITY???? You're definitely going to get a lot of recognition
17:43 This is the best edit i've seen for Limbus Company in my life!
Good video, it was an enjoyable watch.
That between two worlds edit gave me eargasm.
HOW IS THIS VIDEO NOT A HUNDRED THOUSAND VIEW YET!?
Now it is
INCREDIBLY good editing for such a small channel, genuinely Inspirational!
11:21 i remember trying out spam win rate on hard dungeon just to test it out.
surprisingly, got to floor 4's boss.
then everyone died.
Bro COOKED on that ending. Ong bruh I’m taking that shit to heart and I’ll be writing all of my characters with that lesson.
the first time limbus company released i was happy because i didnt need to play gacha games with stories that wanted me to pull my hair out ever again
I don't even feel scammed for spending 10 buckaroos on the battle pass honestly, project moon deserves it
i think its funny that i found limbus company through, who'd have guessed, my discord soundboard.
i thought don quixote saying "limbus company" was so funny that i looked it up, played the game, became obsessed, and then purchased library of ruina, which i am currently almost done with
i seriously love these games
even when id get EXTREMELY ANGRY i still couldnt quit the game
i kept beating my head against it
and yet it never made me feel bad
i was so happy to try, try, and try again
to get over every damn hurdle
i love these games man, all of em.
Pm games are great ^^ i love lobotomy, too!
@@JannetFenix i dont have the funds for lobotomy but im actively attempting to dodge any huge alarm bell spoilers for lobotomy
considering library of ruina barely really spoils anything major for lobotomy corp (afaik), im sure when i get to it, lobotomy corp's gonna be another fun game to play
also, i was so, so wrong about being "almost done" with library of ruina. i am far from done
@@litcherallyy ,,Limbus is not grindy, beause it's a gacha - it's grindy because it's a PMoon game."
@@litcherallyy have u played
First minute of the video and Octopath CotC is already front and center let’s GO
Didn't think anyone would notice that one lol
The whole concept of book characters reminds of sinoalice. Also this game ost by Mili is something special.
Those edits go way too hard, I've been rewatching this video like 3 times already. Also 10/10 Don getting smacked by Sinclair.
This was, truly an experience.
The editing is phenomenal
A uplifting video,
Allows me to ignore whatever the hell is going on with DCinside, Twitter, and Reddit.
Honestly the best gacha game review I’ve ever watched. Thank you!! You definitely sold me on this game. Great video!
Tried LC recently
Truly a unique game
Boobs in gacha? How about stylish characters instead? :)
The world and the setting is very unnerving in the beginning but then you kinda roll with it.
Also - never used automode. I don't trust it and I care for my sinners a bit too much 💜
The editing is top notch! So good
The editing on this so tight and well structured. Hope the algorithm catches this.
That sinclair edit goes harder than it should be
Nobody expects the Spanish inquisition!
Huh? Nagel und Hammer is German in origin?
Nobody expects the German inquisition!
I totally forgot Nagel Und Hammer is german lmao
That Between Two Worlds edit was FIRE
Bro decided to summon the whole PM community with one video.
“but youll soon find out theres a reason why they were abandoned in the first place” BUT NOT FOR THE REASON YOU EXPECT…
Any other gacha games are like the average isakei protagonist.
Limbus Company is the Roland among them.
bruh im already a limbus fan but that edit at the end got me sweating you got me so hyped i started sweating
I am in genuine awe of your editing skills.
Your explanation was better than the in-game tutorial, no cap. Absolutely amazing.
thank you for this video, cheered me up a bit in these trying times for PM fans
That liblary of ruina reference at the end was perfect.
The editing is so crisp and tasty, also the Between Two Worlds edit!!! INSANE! Great review!
MY MAN IT IS ILLEGAL TO HAVE THIS GOOD KINDA MUSIC. OMG.
But seriously the music really is fucking good! I might try this one day for sure.
I hope people play more this game
Really great video, the editing was on point my guy. I hope many people get the chance to see this video so they too will want to experience Limbus Company and maybe even Lobotomy and Ruina at some point.
This video popped up in my reccomendation, thats a good sign.
This video is in my recommendation despite me playing this game daily since its release.... Ideal
Crazy psychopaths go on a bus trip across 12 layers of hell while being guided by weird noir man with trust issues
Featuring Dante from the Devil May Cry Series(tm)
A very good review of Limbus Company. The edits are top notch. Subscribed.
That's extraordinary! Thanks for your review, very interesting game, and very cool editing!
.......okay i'll play Limbus Company now
you have convinced me
As an Arknights Dokutah I can confirm Limbus Company is a good game.
Yes I’ve never touched the game, I just like the community.
_Also the OST is absolutely splendid._
You made me play, limbus company but…
Chapter one SPOILER!!
I’ve never felt this sorrow/sad before, when I finish chapter one?? (Imma just call it chapter) after seeing yuri death, i was speechless and hearing gregor ending song, after it finish the credit ALL I did was stare the menu screen for 5/10 mins, and then I decide to get off the game that’s all
(And yes I did cry after that little bit, aya death as well)
“I’ve always… been a… lucky girl…”
It do be like that
Welcome to Project Moon, homie 🥲
Look forward to the next chapters, they just get better from there :D
damn my comments 10 months ago already. This is the most peak gacha game I’ve ever played. finish canto 6 now just waiting canto 7 and already beat RR4 which never doing that ever again 💀 (got decent IDs and some EGOs)
@@UselessFeatured HAHDBSJDBC I NEED TO FINISH THE CANTOS HAHA
Been playing this game nonstop since I picked it up (waiting for Canto V) and bro made me fall in love with it all over again.
Goated video, I'm crying.
The thing about the battle pass is that it’s not even every month, the seasons last 130 days and it costs 11 dollars
You have a bright future ahead of you and I hope this truly kicks you into the spot light
You deserve much more subscribers with this amount of editing you did on this video and the review
It’s surprising that project moon made different types of games from a management type beat which drives you insane and a card game which also drives you insane. Last but not least a GACHA of all things which I adore but I can’t bring my myself to grind for the shards (I’m very lazy.) I’m still waiting to buy a PC just so I can lobotomy corporation. (No way! I’m spending almost 700$ bucks for a Pc for that!) I love them all
Such an Ideal review and the Between Two Worlds edit was amazing
The multitude tightens its hold
and so will the PM brainrot
Great review w/ amazing edits man
My brother in Christ, you NEED to upload that Between Two Worlds AMV you made, it is kino

jesus christ that between two worlds edit went hard as hell
This review actually sent me goosebumps..Great damn job!!!
Subscribed because this review was what I needed to show some of my friends why Limbus Company is a lot more than just another gacha. Thank you for helping me show why I love PMoon and all of their work, including Limbus Company.
I’m quite in the game you could say I’m a library of ruina fan now and also a gacha limbus company type beat
My brother in christ, where are your subscribers? YOU NEED MORE
Never seen any of your other video but that last part turn me into a fan
I can’t wait for chapter 10 when there is the classic project moon difficulty spike for the 12th time
But... 3-18.... ,_,
Thank you for this, this is a tribute and an amazing and caring one with an strong messae at the end, you can have the crown king
"The difficulty need a little tweaking"
May your woe be many,And your days be few the moment you realize it you already loosen in the depth. Project Moon got their frame by probably he vertical level difficulty
.Want more context? Play Library of Ruina
Also, HOLY THIS GUY DIDNT EVEN HIT 1K YET? HOW 6 QUALITY CONTENT? KEEP HIM COOKING 🔥
I already did play LoR, it was a nightmare trust me. LobCorp was even worse but going into limbus nowadays is just easy mode. Ofc this video was made before MD2 Hardmode so there's that lmao.
Waiting for the same difficulty treatment
I still havent recover from Xiao and Yan
(Both Physically and Emotionally)
The fight was hard (and torment) but the story is also Damned
Erm akshually the identities are different versions of the sinners corresponding from other worlds 🤓
I really cant say more, than I hust loved this video. It really got me hooked on your channel. Gonna go watch the others and look forward for new ones.
Holy moly the betweens two world edit is AMAZING
HOLY HELL! The between two worlds part gave me goosebumps!!!!!!!!
