Thank you for sharing your experience. I'm glad that you and your lovely mother had a wonderful time! BAND-MAID's live footage was also wonderful, especially Miku's "Sayonakidori" touched my heart :") Have an awesome weekend! Thank you xD
Thank you as always for stopping by and for your kind words! :) It was great to share the experience with my mom, shes been a big fan of BAND-MAID since hearing them. Sayonakidori was incredible! Miku is such a rock star! Its so great that she gets such an awesome song. Kanami steps back and goes next to Akane and lets Miku take center stage. They are all such lovely ladies. Have a nice Halloween! :) 🎃
My original comment after the show: Well, I just woke up after a night out with the Maids in SD. OMNG! They were on fire! 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 And so was their fans! I think the Maids were a little more fired up and more appreciative to be gigging than their 2019 LA show, if that's even possible, because the LA show was off the rails, too! Most everyone I met were not only not from out of town, they were from out of state -- Colorado, Utah, Washington! And they drove to San Diego just to see the Maids! Their fanbase is unreal. Everyone had exactly the same mindset about the value, music and love for their Maids. It's unreal, and makes the experience of attending a live Band-Maid experience something very special and warm. I know the Maids feel the love. The Maids made incredible eye contact with their fans. I mean, they would look right at you and make a jester of some sorts -- a twinkle of the eye, a quick hand to the heart, or a reassuring "we're finally together," nod of the head. They're all superstars, but Saiki last night was an exploding supernova. They all looked incredible iconic and beautiful. But Saiki was a monster frontwomen in complete control of her audience, her voice, and her performance. Her new saying to fire up the crowd to the next level is, "Let's get f**king crazy!". And you know what? We were! Thanks so much, Shreddawg, for bringing that night back into our minds, as if that memory is ever going to leave us. ;-)🤘🎀🤘
Haha yeah it really did feel like that! The LA show was also incredible and the people that organized all the extra birthday festivities did an amazing job and made that night memorable. There was just something about the SD show... Its difficult to try and explain, you just had to have experienced it for yourself. There was a lot of people that traveled for the show, it was so cool to talk to so many people from different places. The maids really did do a lot for the people in the crowd. There was even some poses going on haha. Saiki just has a way of controlling the crowd. She just has an aura that is captivating. I could not believe her saying that too! I was like YO WHAT????!!! LEETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! lol I am happy to share some of these memories that I was able to capture. Thanks for the kind words! :)
I really didn’t know what to expect. I’ve heard them recorded and love their distinct sound. But live well you just never know. When the band began playing, I was like WAIT! tonight is going to be far above what I expected. They Rocked the House and left me looking around saying wait is that it? I was speechless they were that epic! My 2 favs by far where Misa with her impressive boldness on Bass and Kanami the sound she creates on guitar is intoxicating. Certainly a night to remember. Can’t wait to see them again. Thank you to Vladimir for welcoming us to the front and a huge thank you to Shreddawg 😃 for bringing me along for a night of amazing music and really cool people. An excellent adventure!❤
I've seen AC/DC, Rush, Aerosmith, Ozzy, Yes, Roth, Hagar, Kiss, Heart, just about every Rock band in the seventies and eighties. Seeing Band Maid last week was the best show, most fun I've had since those days.
Thats basically like my mom, shes seen so many of the greats but shes been very impressed by these Japanese bands! NEMOPHILA blew my mom away and BAND-MAID just mesmerized her! We went back and watched some of the video I shot and she was astonished with how incredible BAND-MAID is!
Wow Wow Wow, most powerful performance by Miku with Sayonakadori AFAIK. This is so good!! Also now it looks like competition between cities of which crowd can please our maids most and I love it!
This was a great show! I remember you with the Canon Camera going up and down the line. I'm the guy with the purple shirt giving you 2 thumbs up. It's wonderful that your mother went with you to this. My parents took me and my brother to the Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath concert at the Pacific Amphitheater back in the day. Ronnie James Dio was supposed to sing but backed out at the last minute. Rob Halford wound up singing for him that night. Was a great night especially with the parents. 😀Thanks for this!
Ok I remember you! Also I saw you a lot while editing the video over the last week lol! My dad has been to so many concerts over the years. He went to Woodstock back in the day and waited till Monday to see Hendrix play. Over the years my dad has taken my mom to so many shows! Every year the local radio station KLOS did a blood drive and gave people who donated blood tickets to Ozzfest so my dad went every year. Unfortunately, my dad passed away from cancer early 2020. Its kind of bittersweet but now I am taking my mom to all these shows since my dad is gone. My dad was too sick to really listen to music so I never really got to introduce him to much Japanese Rock. I know he go to see some Polkadot Stingray, they had some slower songs that were easy listening but a lot of these great bands like BAND-MAID he never got the chance to hear and it something that makes me sad to think about. Sorry about the long post... Your post really just sparked some memories of my dad. Thank you for the awesome post and its so cool to hear about your memories. Its things like this that I love. I love chatting with people and getting to hear all kinds of stories and remember the good times etc. If you ever see me around feel free to say hi and chat!
Thanks for doing this! I'm sure you had a great time, and I hope your mom and the Tiffatron had a wonderful time. I hope you converted them into Maidiacs! Take care of yourself and have a great night.
Thank you for the kind words! I really enjoy filming these when I get a chance to. In this case it was nice because I was at the LA show a couple days before so I got to really take things in haha. My mom has been a big fan of BAND-MAID for a while so she was very excited to see them live. Tiffatron has been a big fan of Japanese music for years (she studied Japanese in college). She has been into reading manga before anime started to get popular the US. I know she had a wonderful time seeing them both nights and it was really handy to have her help me film some of this and take photos as well!
As a new fan I appreciate everything you lucky people put on TH-cam I only wish I had known about them sooner. Only discovered them after their last show, I'm always late learning new talent. Maidiac now for sure
I am glad you enjoyed it! I felt the same way when I missed the 2018 and 2019 shows. I am happy I can share these live videos with others. Its also very nice way for me to capture and remember the experience. I will continue to record/upload as much as I can even if I am not the fastest to upload. I dont do it for money or anything, dont have patreon etc. I just like listening to good music and chatting with good people. :)
So great to meet you in line and hang out a bit with you and your mom after the show ! Thanks for the Boss coffee too ! Like you say, the band and their performances are incredible, but the awesome fans and community really make these shows special - Gregg from Portland with the B-M Bow hat.
It really was my pleasure! Thanks so much for chatting! Having the opportunity to chat with people is really just the coolest thing, I am so grateful for the good conversations and company! That pretty much sums it up, amazing performance but the community really does add so much. Even though the LA show was MISAs birthday and the celebration items planned by the fans was totally amazing... The SD show just felt so much better because of the people in the crowd... Its kind of difficult to explain but I just felt at home at the SD show.
I don't think i've ever been more excited to see a vid intro of someone driving to a B-M show, i see Michael Knight gave you a lift then.😏 Great footage of the Maidiacs waiting in line & i'm so glad that you Dawg, your mom & Tiffatron had such an awesome time. Nothing prepares you for how amazing the Maids are live, whether it's your 1st time or 100th time. The only downside was you & your mom didn't say "Hi Gary" to me in the footage.😔
Hahahah yeah.. the intro was a bit long but I had a cool song playing! I had more footage with the ocean while we were driving but I guess the Go Pro overheated and shut down >.> I really liked showing all the people in line and the guy at the end of the line just made things that much more epic! I will say even after seeing the maids 2 days before, this show was still incredible and I wasnt really prepared for it. Vladimir got us all the way to the front too, that was so cool. He was up there and saw us 5-6 rows back and was just like hey come up here all of you and everyone just moved out of the way. It was pretty incredible lol. Ill be sure to make sure we say hi next time! .. Maybe I can think of something better... Dont let me forget. Ill think of something for the next show. I just got tickets to Nemophila in March... :)
@@Shreddawg Wow that's cool that you've got tickets for Nemophila, i'm just waiting for my fave Japanese bands to play London now. 🙂🤞 Yeah Vladimir is a great guy, i'm not surprised he got you to the front. He's so well known & respected by the Maidiacs now that he doesn't have to use threats of physical injury anymore to get friends down to the front.🤣
Thank you! I try to improve with each video I do. Shooting these live shows is still pretty new to me so I am learning a lot! The feedback is always great, so thank you very much!
Great to share this with us, Schreddawg. Amazing night at a Band Maid concert, I believe you, man. I can't wait to experience one too, next year. Fingers crossed. Thanks.
Always happy to share, I am glad you enjoyed it! I tried really hard to capture some of the magic that was felt that night. I hope BAND-MAID tours the rest of the world next year!
Not everyone can host this type of video in an effective and entertaining manner...not a problem for you (and your mom)...for you it's a forte. You are a great advertisement for Band Maid, their fans and the Band Maid experience (and it is always an Experience)! Thank you for this wonderful video (and for the Nemophila show at the Whisky -- I wish that I'd seen you there...old eyes are hard to count on). If you invest in Band Maid, Lovebites or Nemophila, you've made a wise investment...if you invest in all three (which I certainly do), you're rich. Thank you so much and God Bless Band Maid!
Thank you so much for the kind words! At the end of the day, sharing this great music, these live shows, and getting the opportunity to chat with people is why I do this. I am learning lots in regard to creating these videos and capturing the "live experience". With each video I edit, I try and think how to improve the next one. All this stuff is still relatively new for me so I appreciate any feedback I can get! Ill be at the NEMOPHILA show in March, if you are there feel free to say hi and take a picture!
Sayonakidori was my favorite part, overall everybody got in great solos and I can tell it must have sounded pretty good for you guys judging from the recording. Kanami was just jamming the entire time almost! MISA was showing off great also. Good video after first few minutes blur. Bet that was great seeing second run like that! LOL, I was amused by fact Tiffatron was video, but also really nice cosplay, and it attracted people didn't it? shows in video reactions, but have to keep remembering the camera person looks like a Band-Maid. I KNOW you had great time! BAND-MAID coming up on 9 years soon. still getting new all the time. Miku doing the pop cluppo thing. They are amazing.
Sayonakidori was incredible! I filmed it at the LA show as well! Miku looked like such a rock star! Such a great song and so fun to see! Ive go to say though... The instrumental! My god! From Now On was AMAZING! The emotion captured in that song! I want to do a video on just that song! Thats kinda why I put in in front for the show haha. I chopped the show all up ^^ Tiffatron was quite popular there actually! In LA there was a few different maids but she may have been the only 1 or 2 in SD. Kanami handed a pick directly to Tiffatron that night. That was the only pick handed directly to someone. Vladimir hooked that up lol! That show as incredible! I cant wait for the next one!
@@Shreddawg Ah yes, Vladimir the Band-Maid ambassador! I am SURE Tiffatron was more than impressed! I would be looking up a frame for it to go in already, lol. Yes I ALWAYS love when you do Band-Maid stuff, they are 9 yrs later still above remarkable! been looking at a graphics project using some of blooming ST perhaps.
Yeah were both thinking of what to do. Perhaps a frame with the pick and the autographed post card? Not sure yet. Blooming is really good! That would be awesome!
RIGHT????!! Miku looked like such a rock star out there! She absolutely killed Sayonakidori! Not gonna lie... It was pretty cool to spend the night right in front of MISA. I dont know if you saw but I got the pick that MISA was playing that night!
@@Shreddawg Thanx to Your vid I saw Just how much Miku does in "From Now On" I originally thought and commented that I thought this was the least Miku oriented Instrumental WRONG!!!!!
Okay it's official, Band Maid despite their petite size are the front line contenders for the vacant heavyweight rock and roll live performance championship belt, I almost pity Guns n Roses come BM support time 🤣 Thanks for the vid , Viva the Maids peace and love Po 👍🎼🥁🎤🎸🍻
Hey Shreddawg, great hanging out with you all once again. The thumbnail pics look great as well. Theres some good looking people in those pics... Lol Really good job with the video. Enjoyed it very much. Until next time keep up the good work and be safe my friend.
Yes, it was great! The entire evening was wonderful! The picture was just too good to not use for the thumbnail, I had to find a way to sneak it in! Im glad you had a great night as well. I think the SD show was better than LA show. The whole vibe of the crowd was just better. Im not sure if you saw but NEMOPHILA has a show in March at the Echoplex in LA. I picked up some tickets for that show.
That’s for sharing bro. Just discovered them while listening to Loudness mv and someone mentioned them on a comment. Wish I knew about them at least September of 2022 maybe would’ve made it to the concert😢. They freaking rock. I’m from San Diego too. Where was this concert at?
No problem at all, glad you got to check it out! The show was really incredible, they are a band that needs to be heard live for sure! Their studio stuff is great but its actually so much better live! This was at the house of blues, its near the gaslamp area if im not mistaken.
It really is incredible! The song itself is just a fantastic song. Such a good mix of heavy guitars and incredible vocals. Speaking of which, DAMN! Miku KILLED the vocals! So damn good!
Ahhh, we (America) were hoping to adopt them! What a fun, talented and lively bunch. They were so much fun. Add the music and everything for those two hours were perfect!
LOL omg you are right! Wouldnt you know it, I spent a whole week working on this video and re-edited it several times and I still messed that up. To be fair... the 2 and the 7 are very similar lol. Good catch!
The security guard placements are ridiculous . People pay serious money and this clown who couldn't stop 10 year old child from jumping the rail is placed dead center. Stupid. The Band-Maid crowd are the most well behaved group ever. You NEVER hear one bad incidence.

@@Shreddawg look up display cases boxes small
@@fremen6013 Thanks for the heads up! :D
MISA MISA MISA!!!!! MIKU is a ROCK GODDESS no joke
RIGHT????!! Miku looked like such a rock star out there! She absolutely killed Sayonakidori!
Not gonna lie... It was pretty cool to spend the night right in front of MISA. I dont know if you saw but I got the pick that MISA was playing that night!
@@Shreddawg damn lucky SOB I missed by a hand getting the one from MISA at echoplex 1st Oct 2019
@@Shreddawg Thanx to Your vid I saw Just how much Miku does in "From Now On" I originally thought and commented that I thought this was the least Miku oriented Instrumental WRONG!!!!!
@@DavidMISAMISAMISACook But you got a high 5 from Mincho tho Dave, that's God-like status.😁
@@GaryHolloway-810 just wonderin how close Ryan and Alan got in their interview environment
Thank you for the coffee in line.
Haha np! Hope you enjoyed! I am glad I got to share some BOSS Coffee with so many people! I think I gave away 12 cans that night.
What's this cool track going on in the background? I mean the first one. I love brand new road.
The song in the intro is "Dont apply the brake" awesome song. PinD has a pretty cool photo collage of the song. I also posted a video of his collage!
Hahaha so true! They can really hold their own against anyone! Thanks for stopping by!
@@Shreddawg Nice! I got me a ticket as well. See you there!
😉👍✨✨✨✨✨

Sayonakidori! It's the best performance! It gives an impulse like an early punk such as the crash and SLF🔥🎸 Thanks!

Add the music and everything for those two hours were perfect!

wasn't the show 10/17? you put 10/12 lol
Yep BAND-MAID will do that to a man's brain.🤯
LOL omg you are right! Wouldnt you know it, I spent a whole week working on this video and re-edited it several times and I still messed that up. To be fair... the 2 and the 7 are very similar lol. Good catch!

The security guard placements are ridiculous . People pay serious money and this clown who couldn't stop 10 year old child from jumping the rail is placed dead center. Stupid. The Band-Maid crowd are the most well behaved group ever. You NEVER hear one bad incidence.
LOL omg I know. Like I get why they are there but DAMN man them 2 dudes ruined so many good shots lol
