Crazy that varus didn't go comet, if he ever gets caught by pyke or ran down by draven hob ain't ever making the difference and he can't exactly go auto range vs azir or aatrox either.

@@shinoie1023 pros many times go grievous wounds and end up with like under 500 reduced healing after 20 minutes of buying it.
Doesn't take having a degree in pure mathematics or applied mathematics to point out 2+2=4.
I also get that you get your runes for the entire game not just laning, but not taking comet to keep draven/pyke from autowinning allins gets you completely demolished like it happened here. Especially since he didn't have a support with better peel like janna or maokai.

Its been the go to build on draven for a long time and it hasnt been changed much. Pretty sure its still completely fine but lethality items are also just very strong so it isnt necessary BIS anymore

ER is considered to be a "Noob Item" for Draven as higher elo players are expected to already have good mana management (you can watch back to Jack's past Draven games and notice that, despite not having ER, he rarely runs out of mana)
Sheen procs are good, but the item itself doesnt give AD, which is the most needed stat in Draven builds as flat AD grows his Q / Auto damage
This is why most players build Lethality as it gives, among other things, the most economical AD in the game
