What a great help you are here, and this is one of those great tunes that make you glad to be a fiddle player; so fun to play. As far as the name, I wonder what the original was exactly, if there was one - "to" or "from" would depend on whether you're coming or going? Thanks so much
I wonder if fiddling is really just the practice of relearning tunes you thought you knew how to play every few years. That's pretty much what it feels like a lot of the time, and it's weirdly satisfying.
Incredible, going to try to tackle this.
amazing lesson on this tune, great to have a second hand source now that clyde has passed. Would love to hear more tunes from clyde
Excellent! Need to woodshed this now.
Great tune and great playing👏👏👏👏
Thanks so much!
Very pretty, just got into Clyde Davenport
I love your modesty, I appreciate that in talented people. This tune is awesome and so are you!!!
Thank you! 🎻🎻
thanks for the free lessssun
Just great! I sure like your playing. God bless you!
Outstanding! Thank you for sharing this!!
Great, will attempt that! Thanks so much for posting.
Fantastic! Enjoy. It should get you pretty close, and the high part is really close.
Nice! One of my favorite tunes :)
mine too. I'm finally almost/kind of happy with where I am with it.
@@JosephDecosimo Sounds great! I never suck it up and play it out of standard like Clyde did ...
Great playing, man!!
I definitely hear that one in Alberta jams, I'll pass along your videos!
Great. It's a fantastic tune. This is just my nerdy take on it...
I can't speak for the bowing, but the way it sounds to me is 98% how I've heard it played. (speaking as someone who doesn't play it yet)
this tune was mentioned at the old time jam at Dee's I think, this week. they said it was played at every jam for a while, haha
Cool. It’s played at lots of jams. Glad you found it!

Ooh nice. Maybe it's time I relearn myself this one.

Clyde would be tickled!
👌
Been wrestling with that one for years.
Me too. I hosed it for years, but I've crawled a bit closer... It's a bear.
Sounds like Clyde.
Thanks, MB. Now, bring me my Cool Whip container...
your E string sounds like a harmonica
that is a fiddler for sure playing on a fiddle
not a violinist playing a violin
