His videos are great because he's the one directing and editing them and he's immensely talented at that! He's the chief visual director/editor and co-founder of his label (DPR). He went from metal band in his teens (he can play bass and the drums) --> Posting bboying dance tutorials on youtube --> Going to korea on a whim --> Becoming a Kpop idol through the group C-Clown (funnily enough he was their main rapper) after being casted on the streets --> After 3 years came the disbandment. He describes the experience as being like hell because of how creatively deprived he was (no say in any of the concepts, music, anything) and also because of the abuse/humiliation he had to go through. He then became a very successful videographer shooting MVs for a lot of korean artists. Him and his friends, who are also artists, created the label DPR. He did all that while dealing with two mental disorders (Bipolar I and DID). Many of his lyrics are about his everyday struggles living with them. For example in this video people with mental disorders are usually described as monsters what makes loving someone even harder. To explain the MV, because of his DID, when he switches to one of the alters he blacks out then wakes up a while ago, hours, days (he said the most he's been out of the body was a month) not remembering anything that he has said or done. This MV was the first time that it happened while the cameras were rolling and he switched to MITO, one of the alters. These scenes are the ones that are black and white. MITO is a recurring character in the whole storyline he has going on throughout his work, the other one is Mr Insanity who represents his manic highs. I also have bipolar I so he's such a role model for me! If you're interested in more of his story watch his interview at the Zach Sang show. At the time of this interview he hadn't come out as also having DID. There he atributes everything as him being bipolar but now we know that's not the case. He's an amazing guy! Thank you for the reaction!
DPR (Dream Perfect Regime) is a label, more of a collective of artists all all of them have a name that starts with DPR, DPR Ian, DPR Live, DPR Cream, DPR Artic. DPR Ian is the CEO of the label, visual director, chief editor, producer and of course artist, DPR Live (who is taking a break from DPR now) was the first artist of DPR he's a rapper and producer, DPR Cream is the music producer under the label, DPR Artic is a dj and he will release an album soon. Long story sort they are a bunch of friends that decided to do everything themselves and made it! Thank you for reacting, hope you'll check out DPR Live too in the future 😊
@sandravs555 in his insta live he said that he needs to do his own music that can't be integrated in the DPR lore and that he can't speak for the future if he will be back with DPR or not but for now he's just doing his thing. Recently we found out that he is seeing the former CEO of DPR for unfair payment and slave contract but he is still good friends with DPR members Ian, Cream and Artic are actually credited on his new album Giggles.
The ending melody that played in this MV is from No Blueberries, another one of his songs. It has its own music video as well, definitely would recommend you check it out! Oh also sidenote, all his videos are directed, produced and edited by him. He has a documentary up that talks about that process and the characters of his mind that he represents in those music videos
Well dpr ian has bipolar disorder(he has been talking about it for years) ALL of his music is based on his mental health. In this song u saw a side of him when he is going through manic low( depression). This persona of him is called MITO. The other one, when he is in his manic high is called MR.INSANITY because he is uncontrollable and MITO always has to be protector persona from the uncontrollable tendencies of MR.INSANITY. you should DEFINITELY react on his interview with Zach Sang. He talks about this in detail there. Trust me, his muisc becomes even more enjoyable and the mvs get more interesting when u figure out what character is doing what( they are all him but still very different from each other) .

Is there a reason as to why DPR Live is taking a break from the label, will he be coming back ?
