First sail with the Sunfish

First time sailing my free sunfish project. It was a pretty nice day with good wind on the Columbia river. I had a couple close calls but didn't go in so it was a success and I have more improvements to make to the boat.

I’m also watching because I might get a sunfish myself for my second boat IV been sailing dinghy’s for a year I sailed the rs fevas though which was two person but then I stopped because it was a camp I was going to so the camp stopped so I haven’t been able to sail since last summer

I would recommend it since they're so cheap and easy to set up (mine was free but I had to do some repairs). Spare parts are still in production and cheap as well. They can be surprisingly quick too. I got mine up to 11mph according to my gopro gps on a windy day but I'm sure it could have gone a little quicker. I would take mine on the roof of my car since it was just light enough to get one there by myself. Good luck on looking for one and have fun with it!

Just a guy that lived next to a lake my friend and I were sailing his dinghy at. It sat next to his garage for 20 years and he asked us if we wanted it.
