Another enjoyable and informative podcast. I’ve been knitting only two years (after a 35 year hiatus) and am even newer to knitting podcasts. Your comment about WIPs encouraged me to pull out a shawl that I started a few months ago. Took it with me to my weekly knitting circle.
The mitts are lovely. Had to pause the video to purchase. These will be great Christmas presents. The scrappy blanket is quite an accomplishment; I would be emotional too.
About how many yards is in each square for the memory blanket? I love it and I’ve been trying to find a memory blanket to do, but wanted to know how much yarn each square needs. Thanks!
I’m sorry, I’m not sure how many yards each square needed. I think I used less than 5 grams. It will all just depend on needle size, how many stitches you cast on and gauge. ❤️
Crazy Sock Lady I’m a pretty new knitter and have yet to finish a project (several started) but wanted a memory of the projects I’ve worked on. I’ve knit for 20ish years.
Great Socks! Amazing blanket, too,,What a Accomplishment! Need to get socks off the Needles! Hopefully all by Christmas,,,as most are xmas Gifts!, THANKS SO MUCH,,, ENJOY UR CHAT,,, ELAINE IN CANADA😍😍
I just started watching you and started with your first episode first, then watched this latest one. It felt like time warp when you brought out the blanket because there were just 4 squares in the first episode! I'll be watching the rest to catch up. Really enjoying you! My sister and I are going to Rhinebeck for the first time this year...SO excited! Are you going to be on the hill for the podcaster meetup? I'd love to meet you! Off topic, but I love your cabinets! Do you know where you got them?
As always... loved your podcast. Thanks for the 15% off on your new SPREAD THE LOVE Fingerless Mitt pattern. Love your COZY MEMORY Blanket. I haven't had the urge to make any kind of afghan or blanket... but yours does look really cozy.
I just purchased your spread the love mitts. They are so pretty. I have someone that wants fingerless mitts with a flap to cover the fingers. Any suggestions on a flap pattern somewhere?
Hello, could you tell me how to follow you on ravelry? I'v been knitting off and on for years just the basics. I want to do more this year and have so much to learn. How to read a pattern, I want to knit a sweater, socks, etc. I'm looking for groups to learn and get help from. Thank you Debbie
Great podcast! I always try to get everything finished by the end of the year! It’s a lovely thought to start everything new in January! One year I did achieve this - but only once!🤦♀️btw love Mumford and sons too!
Hi! Love your podcast today. You are such a talented lady! I eventually would like to purchase your fingerless mitts pattern but my husband and I are retired so we pinch every penny we have. Maybe he will get the pattern for my birthday. Anyway...didn't mean to go off on a tangent there. I look forward to your next video2. Take care and may God bless you and your family always.
I usually make tube socks and I have not been able to figure out how to do the heels I'm looking for a tutorial on how to do an easy heel to a sock????
I have a question about Rhinebeck. I have the opportunity to go on a bus trip there but there’s only spots left for Sunday. Do most people who travel there from far away stay through Sunday? I’d like to hopefully see all my favorite podcasters but am afraid they’ll all be gone by Sunday What method did you use to seem the scrappy blanket squares together ?
For the scrappy blanket I just followed the pattern. No seaming them together. It tells you how to pick up and add a new square. I know some stay through Sunday but the crowds are definitely less on a Sunday.

Yes, an off the needles kal, that’d be amazing!
I love the WIPs off the needles KAL as well as a fall winter sock KAL ❤️

Your blanket is absolutely awesome!!
Sounds like you named the next KAL, help us get all of our WIPs off the needles before January 1st! That sounds amazing and a great challenge.

Of the other comments as far as getting wips off the needles for a KAL, since most of us probably already have plenty going. 🙋🏻♀️

Maybe your KAL could be "start your needle fresh on new year" and we finish WIPs together. /Anna, Stockholm, Sweden
What is the podcast you mentioned... twin stitch?
Twin Stitches Designs
Maybe a fingerless mitts KAL?
Love love your socks 💞
