I noticed this problem on my 2013 Soul. Every time I turn on the car the mode button doesn't show the phone MP3 option, but if I press the CD/Aux button it'll show up. BTW, Sometimes that button didn't change from Aux on the screen unless I pressed a different button like the FM, and then went back and pressed Aux. Then the phone shows up on screen. A stupid system.
The only thing I noticed is that when pairing up my phone to my kia after watching this video it doesn't show your battery life on your radio like other car radios do
Just bought a Kia Soul 2013. I'm doing all the steps, but it won't connect. I did it exactly right before searching on youtube to see where I had gone wrong. Not sure why it's not connecting. 🤔
When i turn the knob to Phone and press it at 0:32, my red screen repeatedly says “System Not Ready. Please Wait A Moment.” then it goes back to the menu. 🙁
How can we change the songs using steering wheel ? for example, listening to my playlist on Spotify and try to change the song when I push the up and down button it’s not working any solution?
I can pair phones and delete phone…but within minutes to a week of pairing it will say (after starting the car)“pairing failed” “you have paired 5 phones…please delete a phone to pair a new phone”… I can delete all the phone and paid my phone again…but it keeps happening…
I don't know if anyone will see this comment, but I have a 2015 Kia Soul, which I love! When I bought the car, the salesperson set up my phone, and got it paired, and it worked beautifully for the first 4+ years. I did get a new phone (Samsung Galaxy A50) about 7 mo ago, and I was able to get it paired with the Kia's Bluetooth, and it worked great up until a couple of months ago. All of a sudden, I can't do anything with my phone on the Bluetooth. When I turn on the Bluetooth, it has my Kia listed there as a "discoverable device", and it says it's paired, but it just doesn't work anymore! Does anyone have any ideas on what I should do? I might end up just taking in to the dealer, but I'm trying to avoid that, as it's a big hassle!

yours gives the code but ours is used so it has someone else’s connected and it keeps telling us to select number or phone
I managed to connect my phone but why i cant change tracks using the steering wheel or the radio while i can when i'm connecting usb to the car
Is there a way to get it to automatically connect once it's in range? Mine always makes me pair it every time I start my car
Mine automatically connect to the car but I always have to hit aux for it to play my music through phone

Mine only does phone calls, won't play music.
Already know how to do this, but it literally doesn't load when i click kia motors to the passcode

I have a 2010 and it only has SAT 1-3 and no MP3 option
Mine is paired but cannot play songs from my phone on the car. 2010 Soul. A53 5g samsung. No port on the phone to connect to auxiliary port on car.

Your device may not be connected or it's not playing any music or the music don't have a title

I would delete the phone off the radio and delete your car off of Bluetooth and try to re pair the phone to the car
