Brits on 1700-1900 elo now have almost 58% winrate (on 157 games) which makes them the most succesfull civ in terms of win ratio. I know the number of games played is just not high enough for it to be statictically reliable, but still it indicates a trend. Yes, they were nerfed and yes, the old builds don't feel that smooth, but they are still among the top civs at least at high elo.
Seems like Russia have been at the bottom for so long. They've made a couple of changes over the years (reducing vill time, now the latest rework), but it's never been close to enough.
What build order would you advise for Aztec ? I am glad you ranked one Native American civilization so high but I am struggling to understand how to make them work : my first feeling with them was that they are aimed to rush age 2 in an all-in manner, but you mentioned how Jaguar Prowlers and Arrow Knights are great. Does that mean we should go FF or is semi-FF better ? I have no clue because they feel a lot different to the "standard" Europeans civs.
would be interesting to rate civs by late game utility / units (Revolution age / imperial age) and eco ability (like how germany, mexico, south africa dutch, and italians can all have 10,000+ resources per minute with maximum economy investment).
I’m Aztec main but I can’t get behind everyone saying JPK are great now. I haven’t found that success with them. They are melee, so the ones that do get promoted have lost hp, the still get kited even with 5 speed.
My ranking is spain and brits are S tier in this patch , spain are really busted in this patch due to the pikeman become 25/25 and spain have already strong pikeman they become really ditry unit, and brit is just been add 3 vil it become really good in this patch (1550+player) had better nerf house building speed like swden. russia is kinda intersting cuz I know some high elo player played very good but 1200-1700 still in shit win rate which means is civ need more "game knowing" to get more win rate
I know alot will disagree with me.... Lakota rush attack menacing get the card with 2 war hut build it near your enemy spam axe or bow and win very early.
I agree for any game past 25 minutes. He is only talking about 1v1 Supremacy here it seems where the US can ship some nice push cards. But nothing special in imperial as missing key gather rate cards.
I struggle desperately against Brits. I've come to see that if you let them do their thing, boom age 2 and fortress at 10 minutes. Their economy is disgusting and I auto lose. If I rush them I can do a bit of damage (however not all civs are good against age 2 Brits), then go semi FF and attack. But I always feel like I'm on a timer and need to commit. It's miserable to lose to economy every time I play them Can anyone give me guidance?
My guess would be, if you're sure they are booming, to go straight FF with a civ which is good at it, and you'll arrive at the sweet spot to wreck the enemy
Sorry but no Spain is too op, also almost only got buffs. Spain is S-tier, they can do everything, they have way to many options. Do angree with most of the tierlist. Dutch is better then you think, yeah they are weak early game, also got the new musket that are diffently good, tho very gold high. Russias problem is that you need so many card. Ottoman is too op, and S-tier, you forget that they have a secret vapen in the own grendier. I do not play every civ tho. I think the goal is to get most civs to A-tier, strong but still beatable. Sweden is way worse, they have too many weak matchup and too few options military wise. You basicly only have Torp boom, carolean and lathet Canon strategy... Even if USA and Astezs are kind of too strong, still want test them out. The thing is I think Italy and USA was that they took time to get discover of their streght and have many choices they have
Bang on about USA Italy theory taking time to develop. I spotted the power of coal mines years ago but i enjoy or even play USA to test it. I know interjection designed USA to be a civ with many openings instead of a classic 3 vill civ. Theres always going to be wriggle room of exactly where somes sit etc. But I do not think you can compare on the same tier as otto and italy
I'm glad Japan got nerfed, they were so toxic in team games for most of my time with AOE3. If they want to balance them they should make Samurais better, that unit has always been underwelming, and DE is bringing melee units back.

Hausa is S tier. They can easily beat any civ if properly played.
