Release of ego is removal of the unreal ego by self enquiry technique detailed by Bhagawan Ramana.
The root of ego leads us to the Heart or Absolute I AM.
Mind and body are projections of ego in time and space construct.The jagrat and swapna states are the modes of ego in delusion.This avidya that I am the body mind etc should drop away by sadhana.
