Man those first 15 minutes were tough to hear. Thank God Don was somehow able to get to the hospital and is still with us.
Someone should make a feature-length documentary about the hunt for the lost elements of a particular title. The countless phone calls, e-mails, checking vaults, warehouses and storage facilities. I'd find that incredibly fascinating to see documented on film/video.

Frightening to hear what happened to Don and hope he can get back on his legs real soon. Awesome stream fellows but incredibly disheartening to hear about the circumstances surrounding Black Roses. I had always wondered why it hadn't made it to blu-ray and really hope that the elements aren't lost but things aren't looking good so far. It makes me really nervous about so many other horror titles from the 80's such as Mongrel (1982) that haven't made the jump to blu-ray yet and hope that it's not due to non-existing elements etc.

Remember what I said about the deleted scenes from Friday the 13th part 7? That's basically what is being discussed right here. Those scenes aren't likely anywhere other than in a VHS rip and aren't simply lost waiting to be found.

Is there anyway the makers of the movie Trick or treat would have any behind the scenes or interviews with the late Tony Fields? From the set maybe? And I would love to see them try to get footage of the makeup process if possible? Did you guys know that Tony Fields was in a lot of music videos and other film and TV work before he passed away? He was in a few Michael Jackson videos and other artists videos. Unfortunately not a lot of Tony's work is listed out there. His family has shared some of the music videos he has been in on Facebook pages. Maybe one of his family members will see this video somehow? I've read some comments from some of his family members on videos on TH-cam. They really do appreciate the love Tony gets because he is so underrated as it is. Ok sorry for the monologue comment just wanted to show my support for the trick or treat release and my thoughts on the late Tony Fields. I just now found this video so I'm late posting.
Regarding Thriller. My thoughts are why did Don May decide to put that Blu-ray out without a restoration? It's been said that he released the movie on Blu-ray and used the same master he used to make the DVD. Which is against his own business practice. If one can call it a practice. Maybe I should type his business motto. He is a perfectionist, yet he put out a Blu-ray with a DVD master...?
If he's such a perfectionist, why not just let someone else buy up those properties?
I'd rather have a slightly lower quality NOW than wait a REALLY long time for great quality.
